In this role, you will
- Enhance the Python-based ingestion framework to support ingesting usage statistics, lineage, and operational metadata from systems like Snowflake, Redshift, Kafka, & more!
- Build connectors for major systems in the modern data and ML stacks
- Enable the ingestion framework to run in a cloud native environment
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of engineering experience
- Expertise in Python
- Familiarity with tools in the modern data and ML ecosystem
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Ability to design for scale and fault tolerance

You'll be part of a small, high-performing team with real visibility into pipeline and close rates. This isn't a churn-and-burn SDR seat — we care about quality conversations and building genuine pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Qualify inbound leads from events, webinars, and content downloads and move them quickly through the top of funnel
- Run outbound sequences into target accounts across EMEA, with a focus on data engineering and platform teams
- Personalize outreach using tools like ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and HubSpot — we're not a spray-and-pray shop
- Collaborate closely with your AE and the marketing team to align on account strategy and messaging
- Represent DataHub at field events in the region when needed
- 1–2 years of BDR or SDR experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Comfortable working both inbound and outbound pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication — you know how to be concise and still be interesting
- Naturally curious about data and technology — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should want to understand what our buyers care about
- Based in London and eligible to work in the UK
- Experience selling to data engineering, analytics, or platform teams
- Some familiarity with the data or analytics space — enough to hold a credible first conversation
- Proficiency in an additional European language

The role
You'll join a small, high-impact Customer Success team responsible for driving adoption and long-term value across a portfolio of enterprise accounts. Your job is to make sure customers don't just get DataHub up and running — they actually use it, love it, and expand it across their organization.
You'll guide customers through onboarding, help them get unstuck, and build relationships that turn early deployments into lasting programs. You'll work with data teams on practical setup questions one day, and walk an executive through their adoption progress the next.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts end-to-end, from onboarding through renewal and expansion
- Partner with customers to build adoption plans grounded in their specific goals and data maturity
- Help customers through initial setup, configuration questions, and common troubleshooting scenarios
- Translate adoption progress and business value into clear narratives for executive stakeholders
- Identify at-risk accounts early, understand the root cause, and get things back on track
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence the roadmap
- Build repeatable playbooks and resources that help the CS team scale
What you'll bring
Required
- Familiarity with data governance, data cataloging, or metadata management more broadly
- Exposure to common data stack tools like dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, or Databricks — you don't need to be an expert, but you know what they do
- Three or more years in a client-facing role managing multiple accounts at once (Customer Success, Account Management, Technical Account Management, or similar)
- Comfortable communicating with both data practitioners and business stakeholders — you can adjust your message depending on the room
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — you write clearly, prepare thoroughly, and run meetings that end with decisions
Nice to have
- Real, hands-on experience using DataHub — you've worked with it day-to-day, understand how it's configured, and have helped others get value from it
- Experience driving DataHub adoption inside an organization, ideally as an internal champion or power user before moving into a customer-facing role
- Background in a data-adjacent role (analytics, data operations, data product management) before moving into CS

This role is open to candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone (US). We work across multiple time zones globally, and PT coverage is essential for this position. The role is fully remote.

We're looking for an exceptional Staff, Backend engineer to lead development of DataHub's Platform framework – the core that connects diverse data systems and powers our metadata collection capabilities.
You'll Build
- Scalable, fault-tolerant ingestion systems for enterprise-scale metadata
- Clean, intuitive APIs for our connector ecosystem
- Event-driven architectures for real-time metadata processing
- Schema mapping between diverse systems and DataHub's unified model
- Versioning systems for AI assets (training data, model weights, embeddings)
You Have
- 8+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Advanced Python and API design expertise
- Experience with high-scale data processing or integration frameworks
- Strong systems knowledge and distributed architecture experience
- Proven track record solving complex technical challenges
- Built and maintained online applications serving live traffic at scale (100+ QPS)
- Set up monitoring and alerting for services
- Designed indexing, storage, and data architectures to make large-scale data accessible to online services
- Designed and scaled distributed systems
- Hands-on experience developing in a tight loop with LLMs and applying best practices for scalable LLM development
- One of Java/Scala/Kotlin/C#/Go - very strong nice-to-have / borderline must-have

About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Tech Lead to join DataHub and drive the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our platform offerings. In this role, you'll lead technical initiatives across DataHub Cloud and our emerging enterprise deployment solution, which provides customers with enhanced control and flexibility for running DataHub in their preferred environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Design and implement robust, scalable infrastructure solutions for DataHub Cloud and enterprise deployments
- Lead the technical vision for multi-cloud deployment strategies and distributed system integrations
- Architect monitoring, observability, and alerting systems across diverse environments
- Drive best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and deployment automation
Enterprise Platform Development
- Partner with product and engineering teams to influence the development of advanced deployment capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help build systems for seamless installation, upgrade, and rollback processes across various environments
- Influence the design and help implement comprehensive monitoring and health check systems for distributed deployments
- Partner with engineering teams to help develop self-healing and automated remediation capabilities
Platform Reliability & Operations
- Establish and maintain SLAs/SLOs for both cloud and enterprise offerings
- Lead incident response and post-mortem processes to drive continuous improvement
- Implement chaos engineering practices to proactively identify system weaknesses
- Optimize system performance, capacity planning, and cost efficiency
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide a team of SRE engineers and collaborate with platform engineering teams
- Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure reliable product delivery
- Improve on-call practices, runbooks, and knowledge sharing processes
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve overall system reliability
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles
- 3+ years of technical leadership experience managing engineering teams
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure automation tools
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages
- Deep understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and database operations in cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and operating multi-tenant SaaS platforms
- Background in developing customer-facing deployment and management tools
- Knowledge of data infrastructure and metadata management systems
- Experience with service mesh technologies and microservices architectures
- Previous experience in a customer-facing technical role or working with enterprise clients
- Experience with data governance or data catalog platforms

- Deliver impactful technical presentations at conferences, webinars, and community events to promote DataHub and the broader metadata management ecosystem.

The Role
We are seeking a gifted and resourceful Customer Centric Engineer (CCE) to serve as the bridge between our customers and Engineering teams. This is beyond traditional support — it’s a hybrid role where you’ll provide advanced troubleshooting, help guide onboarding, and partner with Engineering and Product teams to shape both the customer experience and the evolution of DataHub itself.
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced technical support to our growing customer base via multiple channels (Zendesk, Zoom, Slack).
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning software configuration, networking, and integrations — including analyzing logs, reproducing issues, and debugging code.
- Ensure our customers achieve fast and lasting success with DataHub.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers optimize their usage and proactively address gaps or inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and ingestion teams to resolve escalations and improve product functionality.
- Monitor customer health metrics and advocate internally (alongside our Customer Success team) for improvements based on customer feedback.
- Contribute to customer-facing resources: FAQs, troubleshooting guides, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
- Continuously expand your technical skill set through training, certifications, and self-directed learning.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or supporting complex enterprise applications.
- Expertise and understanding of Python; general understanding of frontend technologies like React, TypeScript, JavaScript, etc.; experience with data pipelines, ELT processes, and the modern data stack.
- Proficiency with SQL and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Tableau, or Looker.
- Solid understanding of networking, system architectures, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of (and experience with) modern orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, GKE, AKE, Docker, etc.)
- Experience with UNIX commands and system administration/navigation
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging code in enterprise environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to explain technical detail clearly to customers at all levels.
- A passion for helping customers succeed and a mindset rooted in collaboration and empathy.
- An appetite for working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
