About the Role

Abnormal AI is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our Canada team, covering key markets in Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal. This team sells our security solutions to Enterprise-level accounts within a defined territory.

The ideal candidate for this role will be based in Ottawa, Toronto, or Montreal and have the following skillset:

• Proven hunter with a disciplined approach to early pipeline development and prospecting into enterprise accounts. Skilled at leveraging all five demand gen pillars: AE prospecting, SDRs, marketing, channel, and customer referrals.
• Strong qualifier with a knack for uncovering customer pain points and connecting them to compelling, value-driven solutions.
• Effective presenter able to tailor demos and messaging to resonate with stakeholders based on specific business challenges.
• Process-oriented with a consistent, repeatable sales methodology and strong time management skills — capable of managing multiple deals without sacrificing quality.
• Data-disciplined, maintaining accurate and consistent account and opportunity data at all times.
• Business case builder, experienced in quantifying ROI across multiple dimensions for diverse stakeholder groups.
• Knowledge sharer, able to extract, organize, and document customer insights and deal lessons to enable broader team learning.
• Internal guide, adept at navigating and supporting internal buying processes.
• Resilient and resourceful, with the grit to thrive in early-stage environments and a strong understanding of how to leverage cross-functional teams including SEs, marketing, BDRs, product, and CS.

What you will do 

• Sell Abnormal security solutions to your defined territory with the goal to overachieve new annual recurring revenue quota
• Work enterprise accounts (>3k mailbox organizations) from initial conversations through signing a contract and up-selling once they’re a customer.
• Prospect and generate new business opportunities with enterprise accounts (>3k mailbox organizations) to supply enough pipeline for them to hit sales targets.
• Work with Customer success to ensure a timely renewal and expansion sale opportunities
• Continually document results and maintain accurate data across all sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan)
• Be a voice for the customer/prospect with internal teams including Sales Engineering/POV team, Product and Marketing to ensure appropriate prioritization to close more revenue.

Must Haves 

• Fluency in both English and French is strongly preferred given the regional customer base.
• Enterprise Account Hunter with 3+ years of direct (not overlay) experience selling into enterprise-sized organizations, including prospecting, winning new logos, and expanding major accounts in competitive, incumbent-heavy environments.
• Skill in negotiating with large organizations and closing complex sales
• Proven performer with consistent over quota performance and/or top 5% of sales org
• Technically competent: Conversant in key areas: security, email, cloud, AI, etc.
• Cyber-security Software sales: Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel
• Start-up experience: Success at a company that was early stage, underdog or was a new entrant with large competitors or similar (limited resources-build territory including: channel, tech partners, initial customer wins, etc.)
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience

About the Role

As a Senior Customer Success Manager, you will independently manage strategic customer relationships and ensure long-term value realization across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts. You will lead success planning, drive adoption and engagement, and mitigate risk while collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support. Your work will have a direct impact on retention, satisfaction, and account growth, and you’ll contribute insights to help evolve customer and internal processes.

• Support knowledge sharing and contribute to internal process development or mentoring where relevant

Must Haves

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 3 years in Customer Success, TAM, or support roles
  
  
• Proven track record managing complex customer relationships, including executive-level stakeholders
  
  
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on delivering measurable outcomes
  
  
• Technical familiarity with internet and networking technologies; experience with security products is a plus
  
  
• Proficiency in CRM and support tools such as Salesforce and Jira
  
  
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent professional experience

Abnormal AI is seeking a highly motivated sales leader to join our Sales organization as a Sales Manager for the Mid-Market Sales Team. This sales leader will be responsible for all elements of team development – recruitment, hiring, enablement, and management of a sales team, as well as driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets within their Region. This person will need to be passionate about the extraordinary value Abnormal is providing to our customers and conduct themselves with exceptional professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

What you will do 

• Recruit and hire a world-class team of sellers, on time and on budget
• Clearly articulate, manage and enable sellers to hit all key productivity metrics and milestones of growth
• Instill a disciplined approach to pipeline generation, leveraging all available resources, including field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development to accelerate new business.
• Develop an overall account strategy for the region resulting in strong execution and collaborative team selling.
• Partner closely with Sales Engineering to deliver outstanding product demonstrations and a repeatable technology validation/proof-of-concept program.
• Build a strong partnership with existing customers that focuses on value realization and customer retention delivered through high renewal rates, rapid upsell expansion, and customer referrals.
• Effectively forecast monthly/ quarterly revenue to executive leadership through disciplined deal inspection and forecast methodology
• Develop strategic relationships with existing channel partners and the development of new channel partners.

Must Haves 

• Minimum 3+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success exceeding sales quotas selling security, networking and/or software solutions.
• Minimum of 3+ years leading a sales team focused on growing new business and new logos.
• Strong hunter mentality: direct experience managing teams responsible for creating new demand, new customer acquisition, and sourcing new pipeline.
• A winner, someone who holds themselves accountable to consistent over-achievement.
• Successful experience closing complex sales with multiple buying influences in new or emerging solution categories.
• Experience managing and closing deals of $50K+ as well higher value transactions above $100K+.
• Experience establishing and fostering strong relationships with potential partners and customers at executive levels.
• Strong presentation and communications skills, competent translating technical features into business value.
• Familiarity and experience using consultative, value-based sales methodologies (Force Management, Challenger Sale, etc.) is a plus.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a highly fast-paced environment.
