Ascendis Pharma is looking for a Student Assistant to join our Pharmacometrics department in Hellerup.

We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our team. As a member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and development of our pharmacometrics modelling platform, contributing to analyses used in drug development.
You will be joining the Pharmacometrics Department and be based in Hellerup. You will join a collaborative team of experienced pharmacometricians, a pharmacometrics programmer, and colleagues with recent experience as student helpers. You will gain hands-on experience working on real-world drug development challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and developing R and LaTeX templates
- Supporting QC of regulatory documents and calculations
Qualifications and skills
You are currently enrolled and pursuing an academic degree. Ideally studying statistics, mathematics, data science, bioinformatics, biomedicine, pharmacy or similar.
Furthermore, you have:
- Completed at least 2 years of university studies and has at least 2 years remaining, studying
- Understand object-oriented programming and clinical time-series data
- Has strong programming skills in R (e.g., dplyr, tidyverse) and preferably experience with LaTeX (e.g., knitr, hyperref or cleveref)
- Is detail-oriented with a scientific mindset, and enjoys writing efficient and structured code (e.g., functions, packages, ggplot)
It is an advantage if you:
- Have experience with Git
- Have an interest in pharmacometrics and drug development
- Have experience with non-linear fixed effects modeling (NONMEM) and differential equations

Hours: approx.4-8 hours per week. We want you to be able to balance your studies and work responsibilities and therefore offer flexibility during exam periods.
