Location for this role can be Houston, Katy or The Woodlands
Job Responsibilities
- Primarily office-based with occasional field work
- Projects include land development, site development, and public works
- Draft survey projects in AutoCAD Civil3D or Bentley MicroStation
- Knowledge of Trimble Business Center (TBC) is a plus
- Create digital terrain models from field survey data
- Review and check work for quality control
- Conduct deed research
- Work under the direct supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor
- Identify possible problems, and conflicts, and bring them to the supervisor’s attention
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Specialized vocational training is a plus.
- 2+ years of land survey experience in a Survey Tech capacity. Sr level designation will be considered depending on years of experience and skill level.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D is required
- Knowledge of MicroStation (Inroads & GeoPak) is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor, and others
- Willingness and ability to be based in an office and do occasional field work.
