We stay collaborative and focused, always searching for smarter paths forward. If you want to make an impact and grow with a team that inspires millions, you’ll fit right in.
The role:
Truecaller's ads business reaches over 400 million users and is one of the largest in-app advertising platforms in its markets. We are building a modern, server-driven programmatic stack that we own end to end, and this role owns the platform at the heart of it: the intelligence layer that powers demand-supply matching across all our demand channels. Every ad opportunity flows through this platform, and it decides how that opportunity is valued, priced, auctioned, and allocated to maximize revenue while protecting user experience.
This is a senior, high-ownership role at the center of a multi-year platform build, working closely with engineering, data science, and the supply and demand product teams.
What you’ll do:
- Own the platform strategy and roadmap: the decisioning, auction, and pricing systems that sit between our supply and our demand partners.
- Build auction intelligence: bid landscape analysis, pricing and floor strategies, auction design, and demand orchestration that decides which demand sources to invoke for each opportunity.
- Drive yield: deliver measurable improvements in eCPM, fill, win rate, and incremental revenue; identify revenue leakage and close it through platform enhancements.
- Optimize for scale: drive initiatives around platform performance, reliability, and latency as traffic volumes and demand partners grow.
- Shape the long-term architecture: capabilities like traffic shaping, audience-based packaging, and curated marketplaces that turn the platform into a durable competitive advantage.
- Run a rigorous operating cadence: define platform KPIs and operational health metrics, design controlled experiments, and iterate based on measured impact.
What you bring in:
- 6+ years in product management, with 3+ years in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or publisher monetization platforms. Hands-on experience driving revenue growth through programmatic is essential.
- Programmatic depth: Strong understanding of the ecosystem, including unified auctions, header bidding, open bidding, mediation models, oRTB, and auction dynamics. Working knowledge of platforms such as Google Ad Manager, PubMatic, or ironSource.
- Monetization fluency: comfort with the full KPI stack (eCPM, fill rate, match rate, win rate, bid density, viewability, ARPU) and a track record of using it to find and capture yield.
- Platform product skills: proven experience building large-scale platform products with engineering-heavy teams, and the ability to translate complex business problems into scalable platform capabilities. Good understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and latency-sensitive architecture.
- Data-driven rigor: strong analytical skills, comfort with large datasets, and fluency in experimentation, A/B testing, and controlled rollouts.
- Stakeholder influence: ability to align engineering, data science, ad operations, and sales around a common platform strategy using data and business insight.
What we offer:
We support growth through learning resources, leadership programs, mentoring, and real hands-on work. People can move between teams and projects to build new skills and keep things interesting. We offer clear internal mobility and a transparent path for progression, with leaders who stay involved and provide guidance throughout the year. In addition, you will benefit from:
- A comprehensive compensation package: Learning and development allowance, voluntary provident fund (VPF) and/or national pension scheme (NPS) tax saving option provided, creche allowance
- Modern tools to do your best work: Choose your preferred computer and phone within our budget, so you can work comfortably and efficiently.
- A people-focused office culture: We value in-person collaboration and follow an office-first model, with some flexibility. Our offices offer a vibrant environment with opportunities to learn, connect, and recharge, from breakfast, lunch and quiet spaces to team activities such as movie nights, tech meetups, and cultural events. There's something for everyone.
- Truecaller’s “Lab Days” offer a space for imagination: 5 days each quarter, where everyone steps away from their normal tasks to explore new, bold ideas and build things they’ve always wanted to. It’s a space where curiosity leads the way, and prototypes take shape. Some concepts even make it into production, and a few have grown into real features used by millions today. Lab Days allow you to be creative, learn fast, and help shape Truecaller's future.
