Te Tūranga – About the role
As part of the Non-Stock team, you’ll lead procurement projects from start to finish while supporting larger strategic sourcing initiatives alongside our Senior Procurement Business Partners. You’ll work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes, manage procurement processes, and ensure contracts and agreements provide value and mitigate risk.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading end-to-end procurement projects and RFx processes.
- Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating effective commercial arrangements.
- Using spend analysis and market insights to identify value and service improvement opportunities.
- Supporting contract management, workflows, and timely contract reviews.
- Translating business requirements into clear and measurable RFx documentation.
- Drafting agreements and statements of work that protect business interests and manage risk.
He Kōrero Mōu – About You
You’re an experienced procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of tendering and sourcing processes. A confident relationship builder, you can influence stakeholders, navigate challenging conversations, and drive outcomes that balance commercial value with sustainability considerations.
You’ll bring:
- Experience leading end-to-end RFx and procurement processes.
- Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
- The ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted partnerships.
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
