Junior Software Engineer – Security Release Engineering (SecRel)
We are seeking a junior software engineer to support the Security Release Engineering (SecRel) team. This role is focused on building automation, integrations, and secure delivery tooling that help development teams release software more efficiently and securely.
The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering foundation, is comfortable writing code and automation, and is motivated by cybersecurity, DevSecOps, GitOps, and cloud-native platform engineering. This role will support the development of internal engineering products that improve developer experience, strengthen software supply chain security, and reduce manual release and compliance work.
Key responsibilities:
- Build software solutions that automate security and release engineering processes
- Develop integrations across developer platforms, CI/CD systems, source control, and security tools
- Create APIs, scripts, and automation services to reduce manual work
- Implement and maintain GitOps workflows for application and platform deployments
- Support secure software delivery, compliance validation, and release readiness
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and security pipeline issues
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, platform teams, and cybersecurity specialists
