About this position:
We’re looking for a IT Operations Co-op student to join our IT team and gain hands-on experience supporting employees and learning how corporate IT operates in a growing technology company.
This is an entry-level role for someone interested in IT support, systems administration, identity management, and workplace technology. You’ll work closely with experienced IT team members while supporting day-to-day operations across Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, employee devices, SaaS applications, and Google-based SSO.
The ideal candidate is curious, dependable, comfortable helping people, and eager to learn technical troubleshooting and IT best practices.
Help Desk and Employee Support
- Respond to day-to-day IT support requests through the service desk.
- Troubleshoot common laptop, account, application, Wi-Fi, and access issues.
- Support employees using Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and other company tools.
- Escalate complex problems to senior IT team members when required.
- Provide clear updates to employees and ensure requests are followed through to resolution.
User Accounts and Access
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Create and update Google Workspace accounts, groups, and permissions under supervision.
- Support Google SSO access to company applications.
- Help troubleshoot login, MFA, password, and account-access issues.
- Assist with access reviews and maintain accurate account documentation.
Device and IT Operations
- Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops for new employees.
- Assist with laptop returns, inventory updates, and device decommissioning.
- Help install and troubleshoot approved applications.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
- Support routine IT operational tasks, documentation, and audits.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Create and update help articles, setup instructions, and troubleshooting guides.
- Identify recurring support issues and suggest ways to reduce them.
- Help improve onboarding checklists and common IT workflows.
- Learn and follow security, privacy, and compliance procedures.
What you’ll learn

What you bring
- Currently enrolled in an Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Administration, or related program.
- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems, and common workplace applications.
- Strong interest in IT support, cloud applications, and identity management.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and friendly communication with both technical and non-technical employees.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to document work.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and ask for help when needed.
- A customer-service mindset and genuine interest in helping others.
Nice to have
- Previous school, volunteer, internship, or personal experience providing technical support.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, macOS, or Windows.
- Basic understanding of SSO, MFA, user permissions, or SaaS applications.
- Experience using a ticketing or service desk system.
- Interest in automation, scripting, cybersecurity, or systems administration.

Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$4,000 per month
*Co-op team members, independent contractors, and freelancers are not eligible for company benefits.
