Join Our Team as a Lawyer at Axiom

We are currently seeking an IP Litigation Attorney to support the world's largest and highly well-known Fortune 500 clients. This role requires the ability to work on-site in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee intellectual property disputes involving copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and right of publicity matters, partnering with outside counsel through all stages of litigation.
• Advise business, product, engineering, and content teams on litigation risk, enforcement strategies, pre-litigation disputes, subpoenas, DMCA matters, and regulatory investigations. 
• Develop and execute global IP enforcement strategies, including monitoring infringement, protecting company brands and content, and responding to unauthorized use of copyrighted works and trademarks. 
• Support product launches and strategic initiatives by assessing IP litigation risk, conducting legal analyses, preserving evidence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize legal exposure.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience handling copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property litigation.
• Experience managing complex litigation, including discovery, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and coordinating with outside counsel in federal and international matters.
• Strong knowledge of copyright law, the DMCA, trademark enforcement, digital media, online platforms, and emerging issues affecting music streaming, user-generated content, AI, and technology.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Compensation:

The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.  Employees may be eligible for additional benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance; paid holidays and PTO; flexible work arrangements; and professional development opportunities and tools.
