Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Azure SQL and Oracle database environments.
• Monitor database performance, optimize queries, indexes, and storage utilization.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
• Implement database security, access control, auditing, and encryption.
• Support schema deployments and database change management.
• Troubleshoot database performance, data-loading, and integration issues.
• Support development, testing, and production database environments.

• Strong experience with Azure SQL administration.
• Experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Understanding of database security, access control, and auditing.
• Experience with high availability and operational monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database and integration issues.
• Nice to have:
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric Warehouse or SQL Endpoint.
• PostgreSQL/PostGIS administration experience.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python, or database-native scripting.
