This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in PySpark, Fivetran, and SQL, along with a passion for designing efficient data pipelines and optimizing modern cloud-based data platforms.
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring high data quality across enterprise systems. You will collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to transform raw data into reliable and actionable insights while continuously improving the performance, scalability, and reliability of data infrastructure.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Fivetran, and SQL.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load structured and semi-structured data from multiple data sources.
- Integrate enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and third-party systems into centralized data platforms.
- Develop efficient data transformation logic that ensures data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for reporting and analytics.
- Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data processing issues in production environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data integrity.
- Optimize data workflows for improved performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, architecture, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and engineering best practices throughout the data lifecycle.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 1+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in PySpark, Fivetran, and advanced SQL.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and database design principles.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
