About Smartplay - Singleton

SmartPlay Early Learners - Singleton is a new centre (due to open September 2026) which provides quality care and education within a purpose-built Early Learning Service for children aged 0-4 years. In addition, we will provide an OSHC service for school-aged children at Australian Christian College Singleton, providing before-school and after-school care and vacation care.

About the role

The Centre Director is responsible for growing the SmartPlay Early Learners at Singleton in conjunction with a support team from the National Head Office and Australian Christian College - Singleton. The Centre Director will coordinate all day-to-day centre operations such as administration, health & safety, and staff development, in addition to developing a positive culture that results in a quality childcare and early learning experience. The role also entails the management of staff rosters and the coordination of an Early Learners budget.

The position commences as soon as possible.

Requirements

About you

• You hold a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• You will be expected to ensure all regulatory obligations are met including NQF, NQS and the EYLF. 
• You possess a capacity to lead with a hands-on approach.
• You’re highly motivated and able to build the Centre’s enrollment.
• You’re confident in the use of technology.
• You have a servant heart and vibrant Christian faith.
