About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Beauty Product Development professional to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of the product portfolio within the beauty industry. You will leverage your deep understanding of market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities, drive innovation, and lead the development of new and exciting products. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for beauty, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of successful product launches. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and R&D, to bring innovative concepts from ideation to market, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of beauty industry trends and a keen understanding of the competitive landscape to identify gaps in our current product assortment and propose strategic solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop comprehensive product portfolios, define unique selling propositions (USPs), and create compelling briefs for point-of-sale materials (POSM) that resonate with our target audience.
• Drive creative and constructive ideation for new products and product lines, fostering an environment of innovation to ensure the company remains at the forefront of industry advancements and consumer preferences.
• Conduct a thorough analysis of the market and competitor landscape, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to help our brand maintain and enhance its competitive edge.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance by overseeing the work of Product Development Executives, ensuring the successful and timely execution of all product development initiatives from concept to launch.
• Gather product ideas for New Product Development by collaborating closely with the regional team, contributing to a global perspective on product strategy.
• Spearhead the expansion of our product line and drive innovation by leading a dedicated business line alongside top management and an international team.
• Conduct in-depth market research to gather deeper insights regarding product trends, market dynamics, and evolving consumer demands, translating these findings into product strategies.
• Synthesize data from various feedback sources, including consumer insights, market research, and internal performance metrics, to inform decisions in prioritizing and designing product features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any major.
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in Beauty Product Development, with a strong understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent leadership skills with prior experience leading product managers and cross-functional teams effectively.
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive research on current market trends and translate findings into strategic product development plans.
• Capability to synthesize data from various feedback sources to inform decisions in prioritizing and designing product features that meet market demands.
• Possession of knowledge or documented proof of successfully creating impactful product ideas and launches.
