AI Automation Specialist (AI Workflows, Automation & Process Optimization)

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an AI Automation Specialist to design, build, and maintain AI-powered automation systems that streamline operations and eliminate manual work.

This is a hands-on implementation role for someone experienced with AI integrations, workflow automation, APIs, and business process optimization. You’ll work across operations, customer support, marketing, CRM workflows, reporting, onboarding, and internal systems to build scalable automation solutions that improve efficiency and drive business impact.

Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Automation

• Analyze business workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Design and implement AI-powered workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Replace repetitive manual tasks with automated processes.

AI Workflow Development

• Build and maintain workflows using Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
• Integrate AI models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, and other AI APIs.
• Automate workflows across operations, customer support, marketing, HR, reporting, CRM, and lead management.

Systems Integration

• Connect platforms using APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Ensure reliable data flow across systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automation reliability.

Workflow Optimization

• Monitor automation performance and uptime.
• Continuously improve workflows for speed, scalability, and maintainability.
• Optimize automation based on business needs and feedback.

Documentation

• Maintain documentation for workflows, integrations, APIs, and automation logic.
• Create SOPs and reference guides to support automation systems.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience building workflow automation and AI-powered business processes.
• Hands-on experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, or Power Automate.
• Experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI APIs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, automation logic, and data structures.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or scripting.
• Familiarity with Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, or databases.
• Experience integrating HubSpot, Salesforce, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI optimization, RPA, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
