The new team of World of Tanks: HEAT project at Wargaming is growing, and we're looking for talented QA Engineer experienced in testing complex multicomponent client/server applications. The primary focus of this position is to provide quality assessment for new functionalities of various complexity, stabilize versions, test big game modes, and collaborate with 3rd party studios. 

As a QA Engineer in our team, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and skills in different testing types, gain experience testing your own product in close cooperation with the drivers and developers, and contribute to a new and ambitious growing project.

What will you do?

• Provide quality assurance to the following:
  • Game client/server mechanics and in-game interfaces and desktop;
  • Client-side application performance and its hardware compatibility;
  • In-game content: models and scenes, visual and sound effects, localizations.
• Develop testing documentation and checklists and fulfill test plans;
• Process external testing results.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience in client applications testing 
• Strong interest in games and understanding of player experience
• Experience with video games across any platform (console, PC, or mobile) as a QA engineer;
• Knowledge of testing principles, types and methods;
• Experience with bug tracking and test case management systems;
• Diligence, attention to detail, responsibility, teamwork skills;
• Strong analytical skills, self-motivation and desire to learn;
• English language - Intermediate level and higher.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Familiarity with script programming languages;
• Knowledge of relational database principles.
• Experience working with game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, CryEngine, etc.).

Work mode

• Onsite (5 days from the office during probation period, 4 days from the office after probation)

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 3800 monthly gross.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and pipelines for Linux-based open-source software

• Write and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites to ensure product reliability and security

• Collaborate closely with developers to define testability requirements and integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows

• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with engineering teams to drive timely resolution

• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing with a strong focus on privacy, data integrity, and security compliance

• Develop and maintain test infrastructure, including virtual machines, containers, and Linux environment configurations

• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and release confidence

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices across the engineering organization

• Participate in code reviews for test code, ensuring maintainability, scalability, and adherence to engineering standards

• Stay current with the latest Linux ecosystem developments, testing methodologies, and open-source tooling

What we are looking for:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in software test automation, with a strong focus on Linux-based environments

• Solid proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language commonly used for test automation, such as Python, Bash, or Go

• Proven experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks (e.g., pytest, Robot Framework, or similar)

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests with tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions

• Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies, including Docker, QEMU, or similar tools for test environment management

• Solid knowledge of Linux internals, system administration, and command-line tooling

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and comfort working in an open-source collaborative development model

• Understanding of software security principles and privacy-by-design concepts is a strong plus

• Ability to read and understand application source code to improve test coverage and identify edge cases

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to quality assurance

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, internationally distributed team

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines for Proton's Android applications

• Write and execute UI, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites using modern Android testing tools and best practices

• Work hand-in-hand with Android developers to define testability requirements and embed automated tests into CI/CD workflows

• Hunt down bugs, document them clearly, and collaborate with the team to get them fixed fast

• Perform exploratory and risk-based testing with a sharp eye on privacy, data integrity, and security behavior

• Own and evolve the Android test infrastructure, including emulator farms, device labs, and test environment configurations

• Dig into test results, spot patterns, and turn findings into actionable improvements that raise the quality bar

• Champion QA best practices across the team and help shape how we think about quality at every stage of development

• Review test code with the same rigor as production code — maintainability and scalability matter here

• Keep up with the Android ecosystem, new testing frameworks, and open-source tooling so we're always ahead of the curve

What we are looking for:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Android test automation, ideally on consumer-facing apps with a large user base

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, with solid experience writing clean, maintainable test code

• Proven experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso, UI Automator, or Maestro

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating Android tests with tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar

• Familiarity with Android emulators, physical device testing, and cloud-based device farms (e.g., Firebase Test Lab)

• Comfortable navigating Android Studio, ADB, and the broader Android development toolchain

• Experience with version control using Git, and a natural fit in an open-source collaborative workflow

• A good nose for security and privacy issues — understanding of privacy-by-design is a real plus

• Ability to read and understand application source code to sharpen test coverage and catch edge cases early

The opportunity
Unity is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Platform Graphics team. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality graphics experiences across a wide range of mobile devices and unique hardware platforms. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, QA teams, and developers to investigate and resolve bugs, test Unity’s graphics features, and ensure optimal performance across platforms.

What you'll be doing

• Investigate and reproduce bugs related to Unity’s Graphics features on specialised hardware and mobile devices, to identify the root causes of reported issues.

• Execute performance testing, collect data, and identify potential optimisations to enhance graphics performance on mobile platforms.

What we're looking for

• Basic understanding of real-time graphics, rendering techniques, or game engines (Unity preferred).

We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Hardware Control Systems to help develop and optimize firmware for our hardware products.

This role is based in our office in Vilnius, Lithuania and is required to have an in office presence. 

Who You Are

You are an experienced embedded engineer who enjoys working close to hardware and solving real-world control problems. You have strong experience developing firmware for microcontroller-based systems and are comfortable working with physical process control, particularly in systems involving motors, power electronics, or similar hardware.

You enjoy collaborating with hardware, product, and firmware teams to bring reliable, high-performance consumer hardware to life.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware for our connected consumer hardware products.
• Design and implement firmware for microcontroller-based systems (primarily STM32), working close to the hardware to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
• Develop software for physical process control systems, including applications involving motors, actuators, sensors, and power electronics.
• Work closely with Electronics Engineers to understand hardware capabilities and constraints, including peripherals, memory usage, and system timing.
• Participate in board bring-up, debugging, and hardware integration, ensuring firmware interacts correctly with hardware components.
• Implement and optimize motor control algorithms and control loops where applicable.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to integrate firmware with higher-level system software and external communication interfaces.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, firmware design, code reviews, and testing processes.
• Debug system-level issues across prototype and production environments, including timing, performance, and hardware interaction problems.
• Help improve firmware reliability, maintainability, and performance through thoughtful design and testing.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development experience in real-world hardware products.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Required experience with STM32 microcontrollers, including their toolchains, peripherals, and debugging workflows.
• Experience developing firmware for physical process control systems, such as motors, actuators, power electronics, battery charging systems, or similar applications.
• Strong understanding of microcontroller peripherals, interrupts, timing, and low-level firmware design.
• Experience with bare-metal embedded development.
• Experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and integration with electronics systems.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to diagnose complex hardware-software interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RTOS-based systems (such as FreeRTOS).
• Experience with ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Experience with STMicroelectronics Motor control library 
• Experience implementing motor control systems, including familiarity with techniques such as Field-Oriented Control (FOC), trapezoidal control, or similar approaches.
• Experience working on consumer hardware products.
• Experience implementing UI or display interfaces (e.g., LVGL) is a plus but not required.
