We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Platform hive as part of our Foundation Engineering team to work closely with all the other hives of the Product Development department, Tech and Business teams. • Ensure the productivity and resilience of our infrastructure, including monitoring and observability of our services
• Work on standardizing processes and building automation for data pipeline onboarding, deployment, scheduling, failure recovery, and other aspects of operating our platform
• Work closely with the SRE team to ensure developer productivity and CI/CD adoption within the Data Platform team
• Craft and operate the services, infrastructure, and tools that make up our platform to enable the execution of batch and streaming pipelines running on Kubernetes and GCP

• You have gained 5+ years of experience in backend development

This role is perfect for a leader who understands the "full stack" of infrastructure—from physical data centers to managed cloud services—and can bridge the gap between technical complexity and business goals.

You will lead a team of specialists, ensuring our Linux-based ecosystem and Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and cloud) are reliable, scalable, and fully automated.
