We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Platform hive as part of our Foundation Engineering team to work closely with all the other hives of the Product Development department, Tech and Business teams. What you will do

• Ensure the productivity and resilience of our infrastructure, including monitoring and observability of our services
• Work on standardizing processes and building automation for data pipeline onboarding, deployment, scheduling, failure recovery, and other aspects of operating our platform
• Work closely with the SRE team to ensure developer productivity and CI/CD adoption within the Data Platform team
• Craft and operate the services, infrastructure, and tools that make up our platform to enable the execution of batch and streaming pipelines running on Kubernetes and GCP
• Work hands-on on topics as part of a closely knit team
• Solution architect and deliver company-wide technical topics with a forward-looking vision that aligns technology and business with our multi-year roadmap

What you will need to succeed

• You have gained 5+ years of experience in backend development

Urban Sports Club is building a security function that moves with heart and mind. As a Security Engineer you will work across the full security landscape – from application security to cloud runtime to development pipelines and of course AI – bringing genuine breadth alongside real depth in your domain specialisations.

The opportunity 

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (all genders) to join our Analytics & BI team in our Spain. In this role, you will ensure our data infrastructure is optimally set up to deliver high-quality, reliable data for driving business decisions. You'll lead efforts such as growing into more scalable cloud data warehousing and big data tooling. What you will do 

• Ensure that our platform delivers optimal performance by enhancing our extensive data model landscape. This will enable data analysts and other data consumers to derive insights more rapidly.
• Design and optimize data models and table structures for efficient consumption by analysts and other stakeholders.
• Participate in capacity planning for future data growth and evolving business requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• You bring at least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer

• You are able to translate loosely defined business requirements into scalable technical implementations independently
• You have experience with modern data architectures (data mesh, data fabric, lakehouse) and you bring strong working knowledge of database technologies and cloud data platforms (specifically Google Cloud)
• You have experience designing and implementing real-time or streaming data architectures and you are familiar with data cataloging and lineage tools
• A proven track record of successful data architecture implementations, which you have delivered in complex environments
