Crew Schedulers work to schedule Pilots and Flight Attendants in accordance with government and company regulations, airline schedule requirements, and flight qualifications. Remaining calm under pressure, focusing on solutions, communicating clearly verbally and in writing, and maintaining a positive attitude are essential skills for this job. Crew Schedulers must be willing and able to contribute to developing a growing team environment.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Ensure all scheduled crew members are legal, qualified, and available for their assignments
• Proficient in the use of company-approved crew scheduling software and company policies
• Ensure compliance with all FAR legalities for Flight Crew and Flight Attendant Team Members and company playbooks.
• Monitor and check legalities
• Monitor all flight time, duty time, and rest requirements to ensure all crewmembers are in compliance with FARs and company policies
• Coordinate and communicate with all team members / Dispatch / Training / Inflight / Flight / Crew Planning to ensure that all crewmembers all legal for their flying assignment
• Coordinate and book hotel and ground transportation
• Achieve performance measures, goals and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence
• Other duties as assigned by Manager Crew Services

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous airline, station, or operations experience
• Must be able to work varying shifts, overtime, overnights, weekends, and holidays, and must be flexible to last-minute schedule changes
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong desire for success, able to multitask and prioritize in a high face paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
• Must have the authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Crew Scheduling or other airline experience
• Experience using Navitaire and Gladly
• Degree in a related field

The Crew Planner position provides essential support in planning and executing a crew member’s schedule. This position also provides support in planning of short-term crew staffing needs. This position also plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence while providing customer service to all crew members. This position supports forecasting crew productivity, reserve demand, and overall staffing requirements to ensure that the airline is appropriately staffed, and the operation is supported.

Here’s what you’ll do

• Facilitate the construction of crew member’s monthly schedules
• Create efficient crew pairings
• Communicate between all stakeholders to verify information for monthly schedule
• Own the vacation bid process
• Frequently communicate with crew members as a group and individually
• Track and trend frequently asked questions and develop reference material to distribute
• Analyze crew data regarding reserve utilization and productivity

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a quantitative field (business administration, economics, statistics, etc.) or relevant experience
• 2 years of airline experience
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft products

Preferred Qualifications

• Crew planning or crew scheduling experience
• Knowledge of the NavBlue crew scheduling software, or similar software
• Knowledge of pilot and flight attendant contractual provisions for scheduling, bidding, training and pay
• Experience with S3 and N-PBS
• Understanding of FAA regulations in regards to crew member scheduling
• Knowledge of productivity drivers and analysis

Here’s what you need to be successful

Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
• Height Minimum - must be able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance
• Height Maximum – must be able to have adequate head clearance in the cabin
• Ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat seatbelt harness and lap belt
• Neat, well-groomed, and capable of making a positive impression
• Must be service-oriented
• Adhere to highest possible hygiene standard as outlined by the CDC
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; may be required to communicate safety instructions to Guests who may not speak English
• Ability to pass a vision and hearing test
• Ability to successfully complete security screening training
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
• Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Legal right to travel without restriction to/from the United States
• Current Passport with a minimum of six (6) months remaining prior to expiration***
• Ability to serve alcoholic beverages
• Willing to relocate based on the company’s operational needs if applicable
