Your Role
We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to join our Risk Data Science team. You will play a key role in designing, building, deploying, and scaling ML models that drive credit risk, fraud prevention, behavioral scoring, and other risk-related decision systems across our business.
You will work closely with data scientists, risk analysts, and engineering teams to transform research prototypes into high-performance, production-grade solutions that operate at scale in real-time decisioning environments.
Your Responsibilities
Model Deployment & Scaling
- Productionise risk and fraud models developed by the DS team using robust, efficient, and maintainable architectures
- Design low-latency, high-availability APIs and pipelines for real-time model inference.
- Implement batch scoring systems for periodic risk assessments.=
MLOps & Infrastructure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model deployment and monitoring.
- Set up automated feature engineering pipelines, leveraging feature stores.
- Ensure model governance: reproducibility, versioning, auditability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Model Monitoring & Maintenance
- Implement real-time and batch monitoring for data drift, concept drift, and model performance.
- Build automated retraining workflows and model rollback mechanisms.
Collaboration with Risk DS
- Work closely with risk data scientists to translate experimental code (Python, notebooks) into production-grade services.
- Advise DS on efficient model architectures for operational environments.
- Optimize feature computation for speed and scalability.
System Design & Integration
- Integrate models with credit underwriting, fraud detection, collections, and merchant risk systems.
- Collaborate with backend engineering to align on API contracts and system interfaces.
Your Expertise
- 6+ years of experience as an MLE, ML Engineer, Mlops Developer.
- Strong Python skills (including Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PySpark, FastAPI/Flask).
- Proficiency in distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Ray) and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or similar).
- Strong understanding of model deployment in cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Solid knowledge of microservice architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of deploying and maintaining ML models in production at scale.
- Experience in building and integrating with real-time streaming systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).

We are looking for a Senior Quantum Field Engineer. As a Senior Quantum Field Engineer, you’ll be part of a team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum solutions and solve the world’s most complex problems. Field Engineering sits at the intersection of customers, markets, products and product teams, algorithms, applications, innovation and strategy - this is the team where ideas become applied and have impact.
Join a nimble team of scientists, engineers, salespeople, marketers, business developers, and product managers to drive an entirely new quantum computing business. We’re seeking versatile engineers and architects skilled in technical sales, technical demos and customer interactions who feel energized to deliver IonQ’s quantum computing products and quantum applications.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire prospective clients by explaining IonQ’s strategy, portfolio and answering technical questions about quantum portfolio (compute, network, security, sensing and space) and quantum applications.
- Lead and shepherd client discussions, inspiring them to see how quantum applications can be implemented in their business domain.
- This includes working through business needs and mapping Quantum Algorithms (financial services, bioscience, chemistry and materials, optimization, generative AI, and other domains) into application code and executing Proof-of-Concepts together with the IonQ Application team.
- Share insights from clients with the IonQ Product Management and Engineering teams such that client feedback is incorporated into our products.
- Navigate competitive objection handling
- Translate business needs expressed by our clients into technical work projects in collaboration with other team members.
- Create assets to explain features of our quantum applications and other IonQ quantum products.
- Move dialogs from initial ideation to focused exploration domain through to proof-of-concept and ultimately into production workflows.
- Lead client discovery sessions for business oriented use cases that uncover potential overlap with development of useful quantum algorithms together with the IonQ Application team
- Partner with marketing, developer relations and business development to grow awareness of IonQ in the world at large.
- Attend industry conferences, as needed, to talk to client and support our booth activities.
- Some travel expected in the US (20%) but opportunities for global travel are available as well for client meeting and IonQ conference activities.
- This is a technical customer-facing role with the appropriate balance of compensation acceleration for success and a base salary to ensure that credibility and technical correctness always comes first.
You’d be a good fit with:
- 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles or equivalent capacity. The ability to communicate (at the various context-appropriate levels of depth) and persuade clearly, have strong EQ, and other customer facings skills are critical.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or other STEM field, such as Chemistry, Physics or Engineering
- Motivated learner with a strong interest in quantum computing.
You’d be a great fit with:
- Masters or PhD in a STEM field, perhaps adjacent to quantum computing.
- Time on the customer side in various verticals included leadership roles - this provides customer empathy
- Hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq or other quantum computing SDK.
- Proficient in Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
- Expert architecture skills across various technologies (“full stack skills”)
- Experience leading technical events.
Location: This role is based in Saudi Arabia or Dubai, UAE, and requires candidates to be locally based in one of these locations.

As an Applied AI Engineer, you’ll research and utilize state-of-the-art Gen AI and machine learning (ML) techniques to successfully deliver solutions to our customers. You will work directly with our customers to understand their business and technical needs and design and deliver AI solutions to solve them - either by leveraging Snorkel Flow or developing custom approaches when needed. You will also help define Snorkel’s Applied AI tooling by translating repeatable real-world challenges into reusable solution recipes, workflows, best practices, and platform-level capabilities that become part of Snorkel Flow’s next generation of AI tooling. We move fast and are constantly prototyping and innovating new ways to deliver value to our customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, bridging the gap between AI technology and business value, working directly with customers, keeping up-to date with AI research, and standardizing bespoke solutions into internal recipes and staying naturally curious about the infrastructure that underpin the Applied AI stack end-to-end.
Main Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to build and deploy impactful Gen AI and machine learning solutions, from use case scoping and data exploration to model development and deployment. This may involve leveraging Snorkel Flow or designing custom approaches using state-of-the-art tools, with the goal of delivering real business value and informing the evolution of the Snorkel platform.
- Develop and implement state of the art AI systems such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), fine-tuning pipelines, prompt engineering recipes and agentic workflows.
- Create augmented real-world datasets and comprehensive evaluation workflows to ensure model reliability, transparency, and stakeholder trust. A data- and evaluation-first mindset is essential for success in this role.
- Forge and manage relationships with our customers’ leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful development and deployment of AI projects with Snorkel Flow.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales Solutions and Product teams to map customer needs to existing capabilities, prioritize roadmap gaps, and guide successful project setup.
- Work with other Applied AI Engineers to standardize solutions and contribute to internal tooling and best practices.
- Lead stakeholder education on quantitative capabilities, helping them to understand the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches and what problems are best-suited for Snorkel AI.
- Serve as the voice of our customers for new AI paradigms, data science workflows, and share customer feedback to product teams.
- Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many enablement workshops to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using Snorkel AI.
- Annual travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable degree/experience.
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, including strong grounding in software engineering fundamentals (e.g., modular design, testing, profiling, packaging) and experience with modern Python constructs and libraries for type validation and typed data modeling (e.g., pydantic), building type-safe systems (e.g., mypy), testing (e.g., pytest), packaging and environment configuration (e.g., poetry), API and service frameworks (e.g., FastAPI), serialization and structured data handling (e.g., msgspec), and orchestration tooling relevant to ML deployment (e.g., Ray, Airflow).
- Expertise across the Applied AI stack, spanning classical ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn), deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch), foundation-model ecosystems (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers), vector/embedding tooling (e.g., FAISS), data processing frameworks (e.g., pandas, Spark), retrieval/RAG tooling (e.g., Chroma, Weaviate), synthetic dataset curation, evaluation workflows, and LLM orchestration, workflow, agent authoring tools (e.g., LlamaIndex, LangGraph, CrewAI).
- Experience leading strategic, customer-facing initiatives and collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure ML solutions drive successful business outcomes, with a strong focus on teaching and enablement.
- Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance priorities across multiple projects at once.
