Role Purpose:
Payroll Service Design, Governance & Continuous Improvement is responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing the global payroll operational framework. This role ensures payroll operations are robust, efficient, and scalable by establishing strong SLAs, KPIs, governance controls, and a disciplined culture of continuous improvement.
A key element of this responsibility is to lead and embed these standards into all payroll projects, including system implementations, vendor transitions, and global expansions. By acting as the critical bridge between strategic design and operational execution, this role translates global payroll standards into practical, future-proof ways of working, ensuring consistent service delivery, financial accuracy, and audit readiness across all initiatives.

1. Establish a Unified Framework of Governance & Control
This role will create a single source of truth for how payroll is run, creating clarity and reducing risk for both operations and accounting teams.

The manager will move the organization from reactive problem-solving to proactive performance management by implementing a clear metrics framework.

Our systems cover all major areas of our business: inventory and pricing, product information, customer data, communications, partner data, booking systems, payments, and more. These mission-critical systems change frequently with dozens of releases per day, so we must employ state-of-the-art CI/CD and testing techniques in order to make sure everything works without any downtime. We also ensure that our systems are self-healing, responding gracefully to extreme loads or unexpected input. In order to accomplish this, we use state-of-the-art languages like Scala and Go, data technologies like Kafka and Aerospike, and agile development practices. Most importantly though, we hire great people from all around the world and empower them to be successful. Whether it’s building new projects like Flights and Packages or reimagining our existing business, you’ll make a big impact as part of the Back End Engineering team.

Get to Know Our Team
The Data department oversees Agoda’s data-related platform and infrastructure capabilities, enabling the company to make better decisions and operate reliably at scale. Our goal is to empower teams across Agoda through resilient, secure, and high-performing systems that support development, deployment, and operations across a complex technology landscape.
Within the department, the platform engineering team is responsible for building and operating critical infrastructure that powers Agoda’s private cloud environment. This includes large-scale Kubernetes platforms across multiple data centers, continuous delivery capabilities, service-to-service connectivity, observability, secrets management, and foundational security controls. We work closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure partners to ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and easy to use.
As Agoda continues to evolve its platform capabilities, we are also expanding our focus to Platform Identity Access Management (PIAM) — a strategic initiative that will strengthen authentication and authorization across Kubernetes, virtual machines, bare metal servers, laptops, and mobile devices. This work will play a key role in improving platform security, compliance, and operational consistency across the organization.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Lead Engineer, you will drive the architecture, implementation, and operational excellence of Agoda’s private cloud platform while leading strategic initiatives that improve scalability, reliability, security, and delivery velocity across the Data department.
This role is ideal for a highly experienced and deeply hands-on platform engineering leader who thrives on solving complex distributed systems challenges at scale. You will provide technical leadership across large multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, improve deployment and observability capabilities, strengthen secrets and key management practices, and lead Agoda’s Platform Identity Access Management (PIAM) initiative from early architecture through implementation.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant technical ownership. While you will influence engineering standards and support other engineers, the role is strongly execution-focused and requires substantial hands-on contribution in design, coding, automation, and operational problem solving.
You will work closely with developers, platform teams, security stakeholders, and engineering leaders to shape the future of Agoda’s infrastructure platform and enable teams to build and operate securely and efficiently.

In Agoda’s Back End Engineering department, we build the scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that host our core business logic. Our systems cover all major areas of our business: inventory and pricing, product information, customer data, communications, partner data, booking systems, payments, and more. These mission-critical systems change frequently with dozens of releases per day, so we must employ state-of-the-art CI/CD and testing techniques in order to make sure everything works without any downtime. We also ensure that our systems are self-healing, responding gracefully to extreme loads or unexpected input. In order to accomplish this, we use state-of-the-art languages like Scala and Go, data technologies like Kafka and Aerospike, and agile development practices. The Opportunity
As a Technical Product Manager for Production Deployments, you define and evolve the platforms that govern how services are deployed, operated, scaled, and managed in production. The Opportunity
Agoda is rapidly accelerating its AI transformation. Our ambition is to make ML and LLM application development fast, scalable, reliable, and increasingly autonomous.

Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused towards that mission ● Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution. The Campaign Delivery team creates an effective link between the client-facing Agency teams and the WPP Media teams. The Campaign Delivery team ensures that comprehensive briefs are received from the Agency teams and ensures that WPP Media specialists meet clients’ expectations by achieving campaign KPIs in a timely manner and through embedding operational excellence. They also support the delivery of tasks such as reporting output, offering insights and recommendations across strategic planning and agency pitches.
The following are the responsibilities of the WPP Media Campaign Delivery team, and the varying degree of complexity is subject to individual job level:
• Ensure understanding of all WPP Media Agencies brand portfolio, deliverables and campaign KPIs
• Strong understanding of media behaviors and how the target audience interacts with specific channel delivery, and ensure common understanding across WPP Media
• Proactively address, and when needed escalate, any issue that compromises the quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Provide technical perspective in client meetings when specific expertise is required
• Maintain quality control and assurance practices across the assigned cluster of clients and proactively advise Agencies on campaign improvements
• Maintain and comply with finance processes (such as month-end reconciliations), WPP Media policies and procedures
• Facilitate and influence cross-function collaboration by demonstrating openness to new ideas and interest in learning from colleagues with different expertise
• Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Serve as key point of contact on brief delivery responses and work with WPP Media Agency Planner in developing tactical strategies/responses
• Compile all necessary media recommendations (i.e. media schedules) from respective WPP Media Buying teams
• Oversee end-to-end project management of campaign brief and delivery
• Be responsible across all campaign tracking and reconciliation requirements (including KPI delivery)
• Support the Director of Campaign Delivery team to strategize key account campaigns and ensure optimal delivery and performance alongside all WPP Media Agencies and WPP Media Buying teams
• Share regular updates with Agencies on campaign performance, such as in-flight optimizations and necessary schedule adjustments
• Assist WPP Media Agencies on consolidating data for ad hoc reports (e.g. CSI/Savings Report/Cost Avoidance)
• Deliver holistic cross-channel campaign analysis (i.e. mid and post campaign reports), working with respective buying teams to provide actionable insights and optimisation recommendations
• Identify new product opportunities that will enhance clients’ digital presence
• Roll out test-and-learn initiatives to drive continuous improvements in campaign performance
• Take an active role in developing broader biddable or digital strategic recommendations and best practices to scale impact at market and regional level

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent diploma, in disciplines such as STEM, Digital Advertising/Media, Mass Communication, or relevant experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the biddable channels (Social/Search/Programmatic)
• At least 1 year within internal/external engagement capacity
• Strong experience in end-to-end project/campaign management
• Solid understanding of digital media ecosystem and technology

The Opportunity
You will own and shape accounting across multiple countries in a fast-moving, global OTA — not just running the books but rethinking how accounting creates strategic value. Get to Know our Team
In Agoda’s Back End Engineering department, we build the scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs that host our core business logic. Our systems cover all major areas of our business: inventory and pricing, product information, customer data, communications, partner data, booking systems, payments, and more. These mission-critical systems change frequently with dozens of releases per day, so we must employ state-of-the-art CI/CD and testing techniques in order to make sure everything works without any downtime. We also ensure that our systems are self-healing, responding gracefully to extreme loads or unexpected input. In order to accomplish this, we use state-of-the-art languages like Scala and Go, data technologies like Kafka and Aerospike, and agile development practices. Most importantly though, we hire great people from all around the world and empower them to be successful. Whether it’s building new projects like Flights and Packages or reimagining our existing business, you’ll make a big impact as part of the Back End Engineering team.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Engineer to drive innovation across our AI-powered data experience and platform infrastructure.
This role combines leading the development of AI-powered data querying — enabling users to ask business questions in natural language and receive actionable insights — while shaping the evolution of our data quality tools, and analytical engines such as StarRocks.
As a senior technical leader, you will operate across AI, data infrastructure, and reliability domains, driving high-impact initiatives and serving as a key technical authority across the organization.

The Opportunity

You will play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities, implementing best-in-class solutions, and supporting our journey towards building a world-class finance operations center.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Transformation:
Analyze, design, and implement process improvements across finance operations (AP, AR, GL, payments, reconciliations, etc.) to drive efficiency, accuracy, and business value. Be comfortable in executing VSMs and Kaizens independently. Be conversant with the latest trends in process improvement leveraging AI/ML and GenAI
Data Analysis & Insights:
Leverage data analytics to identify trends, root causes (using lean methods), and improvement opportunities. Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and process health.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement:
Support and/or lead cross-functional projects with finance, product, tech and business teams independently, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and effective stakeholder communication.
Automation & Technology Enablement:
Create macro-based solutions and/or collaborate with technology teams to automate manual processes using RPA, workflow tools, and other digital solutions.
Documentation & Training:
Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance. Be conversant with BPMN standards & tools of process documentation
Quality & Controls:

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Technical & Functional Skills
Experience with process mapping, process reengineering, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
Solid understanding of finance operations processes (OTC, PTP and RTR). Experience as a User of these processes is a plus.
Strong analytical skills; ability to work with large datasets, perform detailed root cause analysis, and generate actionable insights and improvement plans.
Skilled at creating Excel macros to automate processes is preferred
Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.) and automation tools (RPA, Alteryx, UiPath, etc.) is highly desirable.
