Founding Software Engineer - Agentic Systems

At Veriff, we are exploring the next frontier of identity verification: agentic AI systems that can reason, act, and operate safely in high-trust environments.
We are forming a small, high-leverage team to explore and productionize agentic capabilities across identity, KYA, risk assessment, and automation workflows.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to help build this from the ground up.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Design and build agentic systems that can:
- Use tools;
- Reason across multi-step workflows;
- Operate under strict compliance and safety constraints.
- Prototype and productionize LLM-powered workflows;
- Build internal evaluation frameworks for agent reliability;
- Define system architecture for scalable, secure AI services;
- Work closely with product, risk, and compliance teams;
- Turn ambiguous ideas into working systems.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:
Strong Systems Engineer
- 6+ years building backend systems in production
- Strong Python experience (FastAPI or similar)
- Experience with distributed systems and async workflows
- Deep understanding of system design and reliability
Agentic / LLM Experience
Hands on experience building:
- Tool using agents
- Multi step reasoning workflows
- Retrieval Augmented systems (RAG)
- Multi agent or orchestration systems
Experience with one or more:
- LangChain / LangGraph
- OpenAI Assistants or Responses API
- AutoGen
- CrewAI
- Semantic Kernel
You have shipped LLM-powered systems beyond experimentation.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and deploying Bolt's growing backend and frontend systems. That will mostly happen via coding in Node.js and TypeScript (PS: no previous experience with Node.js is needed).
Designing and building Bolt's growing backend and frontend systems. Coding mostly in TypeScript (previous experience with Node.js / React / React-Native is not required, but always welcomed. Paying attention to detail, proactively fixing upcoming bugs and solving technical challenges. Contributing ideas to our product development roadmap. Giving a hand to your fellow colleagues, participating in code reviews and architecture discussions.
You have experience in JavaScript and Node.js / C++ /Java or any OO language. You have knowledge of major frontend frameworks and experience with API design and development. You have a university degree in a technical subject (Computer science, Mathematics or similar). You have 4+ years of experience in software development. You have good English and communication skills. You have solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, experience with any SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for the Finance Data Warehouse team, you will be much more than a data expert, you will actively contribute to shaping the future of mobility. You will empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products.
Designing, building and optimizing elements of Bolt’s Finance data platform Integrating data flows and processes with ERP, Finance systems and 3rd party solutions Analyzing, understanding and documenting business logic and data structures Implementing data models and metrics in Data Warehouse including metrics, reports and dashboards in BI platform Proactively solving technical and business challenges and fixing bugs Work independently and together with stakeholders (Product teams, Data Platform, Finance) to improve data infrastructure, pipeline and reporting environment
A university degree in a technical subject (Computer science, Mathematics or similar) Proficient in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SparkSQL etc.) and data modeling. Extra credit from hands-on experience in distributed data processing (Spark or similar), working with cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google) and operating with modern data stack tools like dbt, airflow, fivetran etc. At least 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with solid knowledge of algorithms, data architectures and database design (OLTP/OLAP) and experience with BI tools such as Looker or PowerBI Good English and communication skills, willingness to experiment, learn and grow Competency and experience at least with 1 programming language like Python and strong understanding of engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD) Keen to understand business logic, analytical skills to design solutions for business. Previous understanding of accounting and financial data, analytics and integrations
