As a Senior Site Reliabiity Engineer at Bolt you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of highly reliable and scalable systems infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.

• Leading the design, implementation, automation and maintenance of highly reliable and scalable Database Systems infrastructure. Planning for future database growth and scalability, ensuring the architecture supports business needs.
• Participating in on-call activities for the most critical parts of the infrastructure, helping to solve incidents in a no-blaming culture.
• Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and leading incident response by compiling thorough postmortems and implementing preventive measures. Identifying performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the system and implementing solutions to optimize database configurations and performance, including SQL queries and indexes optimization.
• Ensuring all core services are properly measured, monitored, and covered by alerting systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to design efficient schemas, perform query reviews, and provide guidance on database best practices.
• Enforcing security best practices, managing access controls, and ensuring compliance with data governance policies and industry standards.

• You have proven track record in systems engineering.
• Solid experience with Relational Database Management Systems (e.g. MySQL). Knowledge of NewSQL and NoSQL Databases is beneficial.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting expertise (including networking, file systems, security and the kernel), as well as a solid understanding of large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient coding skills (preferably Python, Go, Rust or Bash), along with experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible. 
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and Agile (e.g., Scrum) way of working.
• You are a team player with a high level of empathy and good communication skills, who works well with others in the group and the rest of organization.

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer for the Finance Data Warehouse team, you will be much more than a data expert, you will actively contribute to shaping the future of mobility. You will empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products. 

• Designing, building and optimizing elements of Bolt’s Finance data platform
• Integrating data flows and processes with ERP, Finance systems and 3rd party solutions
• Analyzing, understanding and documenting business logic and data structures
• Implementing data models and metrics in Data Warehouse including metrics, reports and dashboards in BI platform
• Proactively solving technical and business challenges and fixing bugs
• Work independently and together with stakeholders (Product teams, Data Platform, Finance) to improve data infrastructure, pipeline and reporting environment

• A university degree in a technical subject (Computer science, Mathematics or similar)
• Proficient in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SparkSQL etc.) and data modeling. Extra credit from hands-on experience in distributed data processing (Spark or similar), working with cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google) and operating with modern data stack tools like dbt, airflow, fivetran etc.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering with solid knowledge of algorithms, data architectures and database design (OLTP/OLAP) and experience with BI tools such as Looker or PowerBI
• Good English and communication skills, willingness to experiment, learn and grow
• Competency and experience at least with 1 programming language like Python and strong understanding of engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
• Keen to understand business logic, analytical skills to design solutions for business. Previous understanding of accounting and financial data, analytics and integrations
