The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff, tackling the challenges of online identity in a scalable and innovative way. We’re looking for an Android Developer to help us build a reliable, secure, and high-performing SDK that works seamlessly across a wide range of devices.
In this role, you will contribute to developing efficient and scalable solutions that integrate smoothly with partner applications, while learning and growing in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Android SDK, focusing on performance, security, and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
- Support efforts to ensure compatibility across a variety of Android devices (low-end to high-end)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
- Assist in debugging issues and resolving performance bottlenecks
- Stay up to date with Android development best practices and emerging technologies
- Contribute to improving development workflows, including testing and release processes

- Experience as an Android Developer with hands-on work in Kotlin and/or Java
- Familiarity with Android frameworks and building mobile applications or SDK features
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration
- Experience with testing (unit or integration) and debugging

We're seeking an experienced Senior Android Developer to address the pressing challenges of creating an SDK that is exceptionally reliable, secure, and performant across a broad range of devices. This role is essential in developing a lean, efficient, and scalable solution that can be effortlessly integrated with various partner applications. We are forming a small, high-leverage team to explore and productionize agentic capabilities across identity, KYA, risk assessment, and automation workflows.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to help build this from the ground up.
You’ll help us protect honest people online by:
- Design and build agentic systems that can:
- Use tools;
- Reason across multi-step workflows;
- Operate under strict compliance and safety constraints.
- Prototype and productionize LLM-powered workflows;
- Build internal evaluation frameworks for agent reliability;

Strong Systems Engineer
- 6+ years building backend systems in production
