We are seeking an experienced Crypto Compliance Officer to take ownership of establishing and leading IMC's compliance framework for the Crypto business. This is a foundational and high-impact role for a compliance professional who combines deep regulatory expertise with genuine commercial instincts and a collaborative approach.

You will be the primary compliance partner to the Crypto business — advising on new initiatives, guiding geographic expansion, engaging with regulators and exchanges, and building a compliance program that can scale with the business. You will manage and develop a small team, including a Crypto Compliance Officer, and work closely with counterparts in the US, APAC, and across the European Compliance and AML functions.

Your Core Responsibilities

Framework design & governance

• Design, establish, and own the end-to-end compliance framework for IMC's Crypto business, covering market conduct, trade surveillance, and regulatory licensing requirements
• Develop and maintain all compliance policies, procedures, and controls specific to digital asset activities, ensuring alignment with CIMA
• Define governance structures including escalation pathways, board-level compliance reporting, and risk appetite frameworks

Your Skills and Experience

• 7+ years of compliance experience in financial services, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior role covering digital assets, crypto, or fintech

• Strong understanding of crypto-specific compliance challenges including blockchain analytics, travel rule implementation, AML transaction monitoring, and cross-border regulatory requirements

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Crypto Compliance Officer to join IMC's newly established Crypto Compliance team in Zug. Reporting directly to the Senior Crypto Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of IMC's compliance program — translating policies into operational controls, running transaction monitoring and trade surveillance processes, and ensuring the business meets its regulatory obligations on an ongoing basis.

You will work closely with the Senior Crypto Compliance Officer, as well as colleagues in the Amsterdam AML team, European Compliance leads, and counterparts in the US and APAC. Your Core Responsibilities

Transaction monitoring & trade surveillance

• Manage and oversee day-to-day transaction monitoring across IMC's crypto asset activities, identifying, investigating, and escalating unusual patterns or potential AML concerns in line with the Compliance framework
• Manage the trade surveillance alert workflow — reviewing, investigating, and resolving alerts in line with established procedures and escalating material issues to the European Monitoring and Surveillance Compliance Officer
• Perform blockchain analytics to assess counterparty risk and support investigations into flagged transactions
• Prepare and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) in accordance with CIMA obligations

Policy implementation & controls

• Implement and operationalize compliance policies and procedures across the business, ensuring staff understand and follow requirements
• Maintain compliance registers, logs, and documentation required for regulatory, audit, and reporting purposes
• Develop and roll out training for the Crypto teams across various Compliance topics

Regulatory & business support

• Handle day-to-day compliance queries from the trading and operations teams, providing practical and timely guidance
• Assist the Senior Crypto Compliance Officer in managing relationships with exchanges and responding to regulatory enquiries
• Support the preparation of regulatory filings and assist in managing the audit remediation plan
• Track relevant regulatory developments in the EU and US crypto landscape and flag material changes for policy review

Cross-regional collaboration

• Collaborate on developing market and trading data pipeline systems, both in batch mode and streaming mode.
• Extend data pipelines to multiple exchanges/platforms and across different areas of application.

About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven OTC Crypto Trader to join our team in Zug. In this role, you will be directly responsible for growing the desk’s PnL and executing block trades across digital asset markets. You will be entrusted with large ticket sizes and expected to operate with professionalism, discretion, and a sharp commercial instinct.

Join our fast-growing Crypto Finance team as a Finance Associate, supporting the financial operations of IMC's global digital asset business. You will be responsible for managing essential financial processes while collaborating with various departments and regions. As a Python Software Engineer, you will work closely with our trading and engineering teams on a variety of applications, tools and automation projects. • You will have full ownership of the design and development of models and algorithms responsible for trading and optimal execution of billions in monthly volume
• You will work together with peer researchers and quant developers to design and improve HFT monetization frameworks end-to-end and from the ground up. This includes HFT alpha research, market impact modeling, ML modeling, execution benchmarking, and performance profiling
• Analyze large orders- and trades datasets for post-trade analytics, and improve monitoring capabilities to ensure we are always on top of the market, decomposing PnL and identifying blind spots / opportunities in the algorithms.

• An advanced degree with excellent grades in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or any other highly quantitative field
• Experience as a Researcher in (high to mid-frequency) D1 execution research, ideating trades- and book features that are predictive of execution costs and short-term price movements.
• Demonstrable experience and interest in crypto markets is highly preferred.
• Significant practical experience with large messy datasets.
