About the team

The Solutions Architecture Team partners with our users to realize their full potential through the adoption of prescriptive solutions that drive their growth and success. We influence revenue growth across Stripe’s product portfolio, and collaborate with sales, support, product management, and Stripe’s executive team to provide the best experience to our most valued customers. 

What you’ll do

As a member of the team, the Solutions Architect will build highly consultative trusted relationships with c-level executives and technical decision makers in the customer’s organization to provide business and technical thought leadership, and become a trusted advisor in solving mission-critical business challenges. She/he will architect business models with them so they can drive new monetization opportunities and growth for both the user and Stripe. 

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of a Stripe account team with deep involvement in defining the customer strategy
• Identify and close new complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption. Understand and align with the customer’s product and business roadmap and uncover opportunities for Stripe to accelerate their progress on that roadmap. 
• Drive thought leadership and be a trusted advisor for key business and technical stakeholders including CIO, CTO, COO, CRO, CDO, Head of Product Engineering and Head of Payments. 
• Work to deeply understand the customer’s business objectives, and then design and apply Stripe’s solutions to their challenges. Develop and articulate the end to end customer transformation journey and create future roadmaps and architectures with deep 3rd party integrations in play.
• Conduct business analysis and background research on customers, industries, and competitors with a view to support growth for the user's business. 
• Lead strategy engagements with users to align to business priorities, design solutions and secure the technical win by performing in-depth customer discovery, evangelizing the proposed solutions through executive briefings, readouts, presentations, workshops and solution demos. 
• Expand Stripe’s footprint within existing accounts to new global markets and business units by introducing new capabilities and local payment methods.
• Act as the “Voice of the Customer” to bring insights, trends and opportunities to the leadership, product and engineering teams from the forefront and prioritized for delivery.  
• Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews and account/territory planning to strategically and tactically align for success
• Approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way with users and collaborate internally

Who you are

You have achieved an experienced position as an enterprise architect, senior solution architect or principal solution engineer and have a successful track record advising enterprise-grade digital native / SAAS / Platform / Marketplace companies, focused on identifying business priorities, formulating technology strategies and designing an end-to-end business solution. You possess deep technical acumen, high interpersonal and leadership skills, and have demonstrated the ability to become a trusted advisor to senior executives and facilitate customer success along the entire customer journey.  Strategic and creative thinker who can proactively identify challenges, take ownership, and maintain a positive approach when facing difficult obstacles.

Minimum requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, for a global software enterprise.
• Experience in the payments/ billing / invoicing / issuing / banking / Fintech space
• Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision makers and build credibility at all levels.
• Effective group-facilitation skills and confidence in proposing and leading customer meetings to gain strategic footing and pursue opportunities.
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architectures. A background in writing code in any of Stripe’s primary deployment languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, Java, Go, etc.) is a plus.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, presentation skills, and confident in explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate independently in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
• Passion to take on ownership and drive change in a constantly evolving environment.

The role

We are seeking a customer-obsessed Solutions Architect to lead technical engagement with Nebius customers across Europe. This role is focused on presales excellence, strong technical storytelling, and driving adoption of Nebius AI Cloud across a wide range of industry segments.

As a Solutions Architect, you will act as a trusted technical partner to customers, helping them understand, evaluate, and adopt Nebius for their AI/ML and high-performance computing workloads. You will combine deep technical expertise with strong communication skills to clearly articulate Nebius’ value proposition and differentiate our platform in a competitive market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Own end-to-end technical presales engagements, from discovery through solution design, PoC execution, and production readiness
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders, including CTOs, Heads of AI/ML, and platform engineering teams
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and workshops that clearly communicate the value of Nebius across different customer segments
• Execute demos and PoCs to demonstrate performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of Nebius solutions
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, production-ready architectures and best practices
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align customer needs with Nebius capabilities and roadmap
• Act as a technical advocate for customers internally, ensuring feedback is incorporated into product and go-to-market strategy
• Support regional go-to-market efforts, including events, meetups, webinars, and technical content creation
• Contribute to building repeatable technical playbooks and assets for the European market

We expect you to have:

• 2–5+ years of experience in technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar, with strong customer-facing exposure
• Proven experience in presales or customer-facing technical roles, including discovery, solution design, and PoC execution
• Strong ability to deliver technical pitches and clearly explain complex infrastructure and AI/ML concepts to both technical and business audiences
• Experience positioning cloud or infrastructure solutions and articulating value propositions in competitive environments
• Solid understanding of ML/AI workloads, including training and inference, and the underlying infrastructure requirements
• Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and scripting/programming (Python preferred)
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt messaging across different customer segments
• Deep understanding of the European market, including customer expectations, buying behaviors, and local ecosystem
• Fluency in English plus another language preferred (both written and spoken), with the ability to engage confidently with local customers and stakeholders
• A highly customer-centric mindset, with the ability to balance technical depth and business value

• Experience with GPU-accelerated workloads and AI infrastructure (NVIDIA ecosystem, CUDA, etc.)

What is The Role

Elastic is building Agent Builder, a conversational platform that connects production agents to real customer business data in Elasticsearch. As a Principal Engineer, you will set technical direction and drive the Kibana backend architecture for the agentic platform: streaming APIs, secure tool execution, session and memory persistence, retrieval and citations contracts, and evaluation telemetry. Your influence will extend beyond a single feature, shaping service boundaries, reliability posture, and standards that other solutions build on.

What You Will Be Doing

• Own the architecture for chat back-end services (Node/TypeScript), defining service boundaries, data contracts, and scalability targets
• Lead cross-team design reviews; author ADRs and RFCs that become reference standards for AI-chat and ingestion work.
• Build and harden event-driven pipelines that capture chat telemetry, evaluation traces, and LLM feedback loops; expose them via self-service analytics endpoints.
• Champion reliability—define error budgets, introduce testing strategy, and steer incident-response playbooks for conversational workloads.
• Mentor senior and Junior engineers; grow their system-design skills and foster a high-trust, low-ego culture.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to translate ambiguous goals (e.g., “multi-step reasoning with tool calling”) into incremental, testable action items.
• Represent Elastic in open-source AI communities (LangGraph/LangChain, MCP/A2A) through design proposals, blog posts, and conference talks.

What You Bring

• 10 + years building distributed, production SaaS services—at least 5 years leading large-scale Node/TypeScript or similar back-end stacks.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems fundamentals—shard routing, consensus, eventual consistency, back-pressure, and circuit-breaker patterns.
• Demonstrated success designing high-throughput, low-latency APIs (gRPC / REST / WebSocket)—including streaming responses and resumable sessions.
• Hands-on experience with observability: OpenTelemetry, log/metric pipelines, synthetic checks, and SLO dashboards.
• Exposure to LLM tooling (LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI function calls, vector-search, RAG orchestration) and enthusiasm for advancing GenAI architectures.

What Is The Role:

As part of the Platform Engineering department, the Traffic team is crafting, building, and improving the multi-cloud platform at scale for Elastic Cloud Hosted and Serverless. We grow and mature our distributed network services and solutions for multiple cloud service provider platforms. We are built on Kubernetes, Go/Scala, and custom orchestration architectures. What You Bring:

• 10+ years in Software Engineering with product success in delivering Cloud network solutions. You collaborate with engineers as an authority in identifying, implementing and delivering solutions. Experience in public cloud, Go and managed Kubernetes services is advantageous.

You don't need to have all of these items, but these represent the types of work you will do as a Software Engineer at Elastic.

• You have designed and built a SaaS product in a public cloud ideally built using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling such as Crossplane or Terraform
• You have built Kubernetes-at-scale infrastructure, ideally across multiple cloud providers, and the vital automation to support it.
• You have written product features or functions in Golang or other programming languages.
• You have worked with containerized services (such as Docker.)
