Data Centre Technician

We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to join our team in Falun.
Location: This is a 100% on-site position at our Data Center in Falun. A relocation allowance is available for national and international candidates.
The Data Center Technician must work well with others and will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and will include participation in an on-call rotation.
- Maintain data center operations to ensure the availability and reliability of service levels
- Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
- Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
- Training of internal teams
- Development of documentation
- Provide technical support to data center teams
- Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware
- Maintain inventory
- Assemble and install equipment
- Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment
- Occasional travel to other data centers as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of data centre experience
- Experience with Data Center buildout, assembling and installing equipment
- Computer hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
- Linux operating system experience
- Ability to work in an environment that operates a shift pattern, with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
- Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
- Must be able to prioritise tasks and react quickly to issues
- Candidates should be able to lift up to 22kg and/or work in elevated locations
- Applicants must have work authorisation that does not require sponsorship from the company now or in the future.
Nice Haves:
- Computer Networking experience
- Python, Bash or other scripting languages experience
- Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS
- A degree or equivalent experience in an IT related field

What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will be 100% onsite-based at one of our data centers. As an Inventory Control Specialist at CoreWeave you will be a critical contributor to the efficient operation of our data centers. You will be responsible for recording and tracking onsite assets, managing logistics, conducting audits, and ensuring that our equipment and resources are effectively utilized within your region. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
About the role:
- Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and other IT assets within the data center region, including servers, networking equipment, and other hardware and materials.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT materials and ensure their safe storage and distribution within the data center and to other facilities.
- Audits: Conduct ongoing audits of the asset inventory to verify accuracy and completeness, and make necessary updates to the inventory records.
- Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the operations team to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that hardware and materials are available when needed and optimizing utilization.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits, and provide regular reports to management.
- Technology Skills: Utilize inventory management software and other tools to maintain accurate records.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with various teams, including Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to ensure smooth workflow.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and take proactive measures to prevent inventory-related issues.
Who You Are:
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with asset management software.
- Ability to move and lift heavy objects and work comfortably in a data centre environment.
- Experience maintaining detailed records of inventory, shipments, and audits.
- Proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.

Preferred:

Your role:
- Schedule, Plan and Conduct Site Visits: Site Selection Visits, Site Initiation Visits, Interim Monitoring Visits and Site Close-out Visits.
- Write Reports and Investigator Follow-up Letters for Site Visits: Site Selection Visits, Site Initiation Visits, Interim Monitoring Visits and Site Close-out Visits.
- Manages the progress of assigned studies by tracking regulatory/ IRB submissions and approvals, recruitment and enrolment, CRF completion and submission, and data query generation and resolution
- Provide project updates to project management team.
- Organize delivery of investigational product, laboratory supplies, CRFs and other study specific materials to and from the clinical sites.
- Perform investigational product inventory and ensure return of unused investigational product to designated location or verify destruction as required.
- Assists with, prepare for, and attends Investigator Meetings for assigned studies.
- Review study documents for compliance with protocol, ICH GCP guidelines, Protocol Deviations/Violations and Waivers, review study documents for subject safety events; escalate issues at site to project management.
- Collect and review essential study documents from site for filing in eTMF.
- Administers protocol and related study training to assigned sites and establishes regular lines of communication with sites to manage ongoing project expectations and issues.
- Evaluates quality and integrity of study site practices related to the proper conduct of the study and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Compliances: Follow international GCP guidelines/regulations and SOPs for executing clinical studies. Participates in the planning of quality assurance activities and coordinates resolution of audit findings.
- Assists the Clinical Trial Manager with clinical operations activities by overseeing resource allocation, reviewing site performance, providing feedback to CRAs and CTAs, resolving issues, performing review and oversight of site visit reports.
- May review protocols, eCRFs, study manuals and other study related documents, as requested by the Clinical Trial Manager.
- May conduct on-site evaluation visits and on-site training of CRAs
- Lead and partake in regular team meeting / teleconferences.
- Assist, as appropriate, with reporting site performance regarding timelines and deliverables during project team meetings and assist with providing and compiling feedback for analysis of overall study performance.
- May serve as mentor to associates on the subject of job performance, trainings and professional growth.

Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical sciences or related scientific discipline
- Fluent English (oral and written) and applicable local business language.
- Minimum three years of monitoring experience, more experience preferred, with a combination of clinical research coordinator and or other relevant clinical research experience.
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology and advanced proficiency in clinical monitoring process.
- Ability to travel up to 70%, depending on project requirements.
- Good knowledge and understanding of ICH GCP and worldwide applicable regulatory requirements
- Good leadership, planning, project management skills, verbal communication skills, and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office suite (at a minimum Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
