Takealot Fufilment Solutions (TFS), is a new servicing offering which has been spun off from Takealot.com - South Africa’s leading online retailer. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to become part of our newly established Fulfilment Engineering team.
We are an energetic team that is fully responsible for all the systems required to support the Takealot Fulfilment Solutions capabilities as well as the unique challenges that come with orchestrating order fulfilment across distribution centers and logistics operations. We have adopted a microservices architecture to both isolate our logic and to enable scale. We follow REST architecture primarily but do use event-driven architecture where applicable.

This position reports to the Software Engineering Manager of the Fulfilment Orchestration Team.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Developing and optimizing systems to manage order fulfilment throughout South Africa
- Working with business to improve processes to allow for more efficient deliveries, operations, and improved customer experience.
- Researching and defining solutions across the fulfilment domain.
- Working predominantly on open source platforms

- Proficient in languages such as Java, Scala, Angular, React, Python, or C# - we are keen to help you learn through the gaps.
- Open to diversifying language skill set
- In the event that you do not have a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Diploma, an equivalent experience requirement must be met
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration is preferred
- Nice to have familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

What You’ll Do
Location: Saudi Africa, remote, travel up to 70% of time
Reports to: Director, Sales Engineering
- Achieve mastery of all Axon technologies / products
- Use exceptional written and oral communication skills to lead business and technical presentations effectively
- Have technical conversations with IT departments, including CIOs, as well as channel partner leadership and technical stakeholders
- Set and manage expectations with customers and team members
- Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the pre-sales cycle for opportunities
- Remain organized and focused on removing sales obstacles through creativity and adaptation to rapidly changes circumstances
- Develop relationships with key partners for growth within their customer base
- Effectively position the technology against competitive offerings
- Be responsible for representing the products, company values, and brand to customers and at field events such as industry and user conferences, tech summits, etc.
- Take ownership of the POC/Pilot process: Coordinate logistics across all stakeholders, assess customer requirements/objectives, and tailor POC tests and findings, accordingly, assist prospects with initial configuration and orientation
- Where possible, improve or develop technical documentation to ease understanding and customer or channel usage of our products and services
- Capture requested features and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW) for Professional Services necessary for binding quote
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
What You Bring
- Willingness to travel;
- Fluent English, French is a plus;
- Assist Sales with presentations and analysis to enlarge customer portfolio;
- Training new employees;
- Document translation & verification for new products Axon brings to the market
- Assist Sales Executives in commercial offer documentation
- Educational background:
- Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent field), or 5+ years relevant experience.
- Professional background:
- 4+ years customer facing pre-sales or consulting background required
- 3+ years of experience with public procurement in Africa
- Experience selling SaaS based solutions
- Experience in End User Compute or Cloud Computing preferred
- Experience in networking, storage, virtualization, or related technologies
- Must have intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability and positive approach;
- Strong Technical Writing skills to provide professional responses to customer RFPs / RFIs
- Basic knowledge or curiosity of security, IPsec, InfoSec, hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and storage devices.
- Ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision making while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort.

Are you an experienced geospatial professional eager to shape the future of AI? We’re developing a geospatial reasoning agent focused on Crisis Response—helping AI systems understand, assess, and predict real-world events where data is uncertain or incomplete. Your expertise will guide model development and evaluation, laying the foundation for future geospatial reasoning and forecasting applications.
We’re looking for experts with deep experience in geospatial analysis, crisis response, or related domains such as damage assessment, agriculture, site selection, supply chain optimization, or forecasting. About this role in the team:
BVNK is looking for a highly personable, dedicated, and self-motivated People Operations Coordinator to join our People Team. Reporting directly to the Senior People Partner, you will be the organisational powerhouse responsible for the efficient administration of our employee operations and the smooth running of our Cape Town, South Africa office.
This pivotal role sits at the intersection of our People function and the workplace experience. You will manage the administrative foundation of the full employee lifecycle (from onboarding through departure) and serve as the essential hub for office management and facilities coordination. We’re looking for someone with a proactive approach who can support our employee community, strengthen our operational efficiency, and collaborate effectively across multiple internal teams and stakeholders.
As the People Operations Coordinator, you will have a direct impact on the day-to-day health and growth of our employees and the workplace environment as we enter our next phase of expansion. Key Areas of Responsibilities:
People Operations
- Employee Lifecycle Administration: Manage the administrative processes for the employee journey, including accurately tracking and updating our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) for new hires, role changes, and departures.
- Data Integrity & Reporting: Ensure all people data across systems is correctly uploaded and maintained. Generate and distribute routine reports and metrics to support People Team activities.
- Process Efficiency & Automation: Proactively identify areas for operational improvement, with a focus on leveraging system capabilities, automation, and AI tools to streamline administrative processes and eliminate manual effort.
- System Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS and ATS platforms, managing user access and acting as the initial point of contact for system-related queries and basic troubleshooting.
- Confidentiality & Compliance: Strictly adhere to protocols for data protection and confidentiality when handling employee information within the HRIS and shared files, ensuring data security at all times.
- First-Line Support: Act as the initial point of contact for employees' routine questions regarding People policies and general administration, escalating complex or confidential queries to the appropriate team member.
- Administrative Documentation: Prepare general employment-related documentation such as standard letters (e.g., confirmation of employment, reference letters) and assist with routine internal communications.
Office Management & Facilities:
- Facilities Upkeep & Maintenance: Act as the key contact for the general maintenance and smooth operation of the Cape Town office. Quickly address and coordinate solutions for any facility or operational issues.
- Office Stock & Supplies: Oversee the inventory and manage the regular restocking of all essential groceries, office supplies, and equipment to ensure the office is consistently well-equipped for daily operations.
- Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships and logistics with key office vendors, including suppliers for office equipment, cleaning services, and catering, ensuring high standards and reliable service delivery.
- Access Management: Coordinate all physical office access requirements, including the management of keys, access cards, and ensuring that all necessary employees and approved visitors have appropriate entry.
- Environment & Wellness Support: Support internal initiatives related to employee wellness and contribute to maintaining a positive, professional, and efficient office environment.
What we need from you:
- Experience Foundation: 1-3 years of direct experience in a People Operations, HR Administration, or Office/Admin Coordinator role, ideally within a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
- Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks with exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Data Integrity & Security: Unwavering commitment to confidentiality and the ability to strictly manage sensitive employee data according to policy.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Proven track record of identifying inefficiencies and a strong aptitude for utilising technology, automation, or AI features within systems to optimise workflow and increase efficiency.

About the Role
The Business Development Lead will own Paystack’s Business Development and Account Management function in South Africa, with a primary focus on driving enterprise growth.
This is a senior leadership role. You will be the specialised subject matter expert for enterprise revenue in South Africa.
You will set the commercial strategy, build and lead a high‑performing team, and personally guide our most strategic opportunities and customer relationships. You will navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles, translate Paystack’s evolving strategy into clear priorities for your function, and ensure that South African enterprises see Paystack as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead the SA BD & Account Management function
Define the strategy, operating model, and targets for winning, growing, and retaining South Africa’s most important customers. Translate company strategy into clear, actionable priorities and metrics for your team. - Build and lead a high‑performing team
Hire, develop, and manage BD and Account Management managers and their teams. Set expectations, coach through complex deals, and create a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. - Own enterprise pipeline and forecast
Devise annual plans with clear segment, territory, and vertical focus. Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast multiple quarters ahead, consistently hitting targets and earning trusted‑advisor status with customers and leadership. - Guide complex deal and account strategy
Support managers on high‑stakes opportunities: multi‑product, multi‑stakeholder, and multi‑year deals. Help teams manage the sales cycle artfully, understanding which levers to pull to move deals forward while protecting Paystack’s long‑term interests. - Drive executive‑level customer engagement
Build and maintain relationships with C‑level executives (CFO, CTO, COO, CEO) at key accounts. Understand their business drivers deeply, shape mutually beneficial deal structures, and ensure Paystack is seen as a strategic partner. - Champion product & technical excellence in the field
Maintain strong product and technical fluency (APIs, integrations, payments architecture) and ensure your team does the same. Use this knowledge to articulate customer requirements internally and to co‑create solutions with Product and Engineering. - Lead cross‑functional execution
Frequently lead cross‑functional groups (Product, Engineering, Risk, Support, Legal, Finance) through difficult decisions and trade‑offs to unlock customer value, while upholding Paystack’s risk and compliance standards. - Model Paystack’s mission and values
Use Paystack’s goals and values to guide decisions and communicate the “why” behind them. Help your org do the same, and motivate teams to deliver against our mission to accelerate commerce across Africa.

What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years in enterprise business development, sales, or strategic account management, with at least 4+ years leading managers and teams in high‑growth B2B environments (fintech, payments, SaaS, or financial services strongly preferred).
- Proven track record of owning a regional or segment P&L or revenue target and consistently meeting or exceeding aggressive goals.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑stakeholder enterprise deals and account strategies in South Africa; comfortable operating at C‑suite level.
- Strong understanding of South Africa’s payments and digital commerce landscape, or the ability to ramp quickly on local market dynamics, regulation, and competitive environment.
- High technical and product fluency - able to understand APIs, integrations, and payments architecture, and to translate between business and technical stakeholders.
- Evidence of building scalable sales systems: territory design, quota setting, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales playbooks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to frame trade‑offs and decisions clearly for both internal and external audiences.
- Deep alignment with Paystack’s mission and values, and a track record of leading teams in a way that reflects those values in day‑to‑day decisions.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with payment gateways, merchant acquiring, or developer‑focused fintech products.
- Existing senior‑level relationships across South African enterprises in Paystack‑relevant verticals.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger) and revenue operations best practices.
