In-Office Expectations

The Payroll Specialist Lead - China payroll is a critical role within Remote’s dynamic global payroll organization. Nestled within our EOR and Payroll Operations Team, this role is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant payroll operations within assigned countries while also contributing to the improvement and scalability of our global payroll processes.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Payroll Operations, Tax, Finance, Product and Customer Success, while coordinating with diverse payroll partners where applicable.

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to pilot the sales & adoption of our EverPURE solutions with prospects and existing customers in the Commercial / Public Sector Accounts space. You collaborate with customers to understand their business goals, their pain points, and propose creative solutions in collaboration with our key alliance partners. You will work closely with other pre-sales, sales, partner sales & enablement, marketing, and leadership team members to help develop and grow business with the full EverPURE portfolio of solutions.

About the Role

The Machine Learning Researcher will have a deep understanding of the principles behind modern ML algorithms — including recent advances such as transformer-based architectures and other state-of-the-art frameworks — and the ability to turn that knowledge into high-impact, production-ready solutions.
The role involves applying advanced ML techniques to a wide range of forecasting challenges, building scalable ML pipelines, and deploying them in production, while working with high-dimensional, noisy, structured and unstructured datasets. Experience applying ML models in financial markets is desirable, but exceptional candidates with a strong ML background from tech, startups, or academia will also be considered.

Lead data engineers at Thoughtworks develop modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions.
