Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Director, Advanced Mission Critical Electronics to define and lead the development of our next-generation computing, sensing, and communications architectures.
This role requires a leader who challenges the status quo of "traditional space." We are looking for an expert who champions the adoption of modern, commercially derived electronics (COTS) for spaceborne applications over legacy "rad-hard by design" practices. You will drive the development of systems that span defense and commercial applications across all domains—from surface to airborne—with a specific, intense focus on spaceborne applications at all orbits (LEO, MEO, GEO, and cislunar).
You will be joining the Advanced Technology Development team, a specialized unit within our Strategic Growth and Technology Organization. This team is responsible for defining and developing Voyager's future technologies, with a relentless focus on high-impact, high-ROI technology and product research and development. We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead PCB design within the Agentic Computational Engineering (ACE) platform team and to encode the realities of space-electronics PCB design and manufacturing directly into our generative engine. In this role, you will own end-to-end PCB design — schematic capture, stackup definition, high-speed and mixed-signal layout, signal and power integrity, fabrication and assembly readiness — for flight hardware, and translate that hard-won expertise into the constraints, heuristics, and feedback loops that let our AI agents design boards that can actually be built, qualified, and flown.
You will work at the intersection of PCB design, space-grade manufacturing, and AI — pairing your own hands-on board work with software development that captures DfM, DfA, and DfT considerations as code. This role is ideal for someone who has personally laid out flight boards, knows what fabricators and assembly houses actually need to see on a drawing package, and is excited to guide the team and write the software that lets an agent reason about those same trade-offs. You should be passionate about both leading a team and building this product: not just designing one more board, but multiplying your impact by encoding your judgment into a system that designs the next thousand.
You will be joining the Agentic Computational Engineering (ACE) team, a specialized group within our Advanced Technology Development organization. ACE is responsible for building Voyager’s Generative Engine – the AI-native platform that compresses complex hardware development cycles from years to days. We design agentic AI systems that pair deeply with physics simulation, test data, and modern manufacturing so that Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA), and Design for Test (DfT) are built into the very first line of code and the very first sketch of a design.

Preferred Qualifications:
The good faith base salary range for this role is$225,000 - $290,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.

We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build the frontend and backend of the Agentic Computational Engineering platform. In this role, you will create high-performance full stack web applications that allow engineers to steer AI agents, visualize complex physics and CAD data, and collaborate with AI agents in real time.

YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior RF Engineer II on the Wireless & Connectivity Center of Excellence (CoE) team, you will lead the design and development of advanced wireless connectivity solutions across Axon’s product portfolio — including Body-Worn Cameras, in-vehicle systems, wearables, and other next-generation platforms.
You will own RF architecture and implementation across a broad range of wireless technologies — from integration of Wi-Fi + Bluetooth combo modules to detailed chip-down cellular designs — spanning PCB layout, RF routing, matching networks, and antenna port optimization. Your deep expertise in LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and related wireless systems will be applied to hands-on design, validation, and performance optimization of mission-critical video and communications products serving law enforcement, public safety, and enterprise customers.
You will leverage your technical depth, disciplined engineering approach, passion for wireless innovation, and strong ownership mindset to deliver robust, high-performance designs that meet the demanding reliability and coexistence requirements of real-world public safety environments.
In addition to leading complex RF circuit designs, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional global engineering teams — spanning industrial design, hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and regulatory — to deliver world-class products at scale. As a senior technical contributor, you will influence architectural decisions, drive best practices in RF design and validation, and mentor engineers to elevate the overall technical capability of the organization.

As a Hardware Test & Verification Engineer at Carbon Robotics you will work with the designers on the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams to develop verification and validation plans and then test components and systems to ensure high product reliability from day one. You will provide expertise while working closely with MEs and EEs to determine the appropriate methods of compliance and test techniques to ensure our electrical, including PCBs, and structural components are suitable for the demanding applications of low maintenance agricultural robots. You will then be responsible for setting up, running, and analyzing the results of a multitude of different types of tests either at our facility or at test houses. Above all, you’ll do whatever it takes, including travel to customer farms and our manufacturing facilities, to ensure our customers have safe and reliable products that meet or exceed their expectations.
