Technical Services Representative

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Technical Services Representative for our San Juan, PR office.

This highly motivated individual will be responsible for delivering operational and administrative excellence to support our sales and technical services teams—ensuring that every customer interaction is efficient, accurate, and leaves a lasting impression.

This position reports to the Technical Services Manager. This role is onsite and is based out of our San Juan, PR office. 

Essential responsibilities:

• Coordinate jobs with customers and prepare appropriate paperwork, including the paperwork associate with our trucking process and associated weights
• Create and distribute invoices with quotes for services, such as lab packs, lab moves, and others
• Field incoming calls from prospective and existing customers as needed. Satisfying customer needs may involve a direct response from information and knowledge already possessed, obtaining information for response, or directing customer to someone capable of responding
• Assist Sales and Technical Services staff with job scopes and the coordination of bids, proposals, and quotations
• Assist Sales team with administrative tasks related to maintaining and growing customer base, including customized waste profiling and shipment report generation
• Organize and control all job folders and customer master files. This includes ensuring all paperwork is filed properly, and retrieving files for job costing purposes
• Provide Quality Control by contacting customers, post-service, to conduct surveys
• Attend all sales meetings and other necessary meetings
• Provide technical support to Inside and Outside Sales representatives and customers
• Assist with the approval of OSS, lab pack, and other job folders
• Order and maintain inventory of office supplies
• Track some office budgetary items
• All other duties as assigned 

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or industry related experience
• Ability to work as a team player
• Determination/eagerness to learn about the environmental health & safety field
• Creativity in solving unique problems
• Leadership experience/potential
• Strong communication, analytical, technical, and organizational skills
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship 
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation

What You'll Do

• Build and deliver full-stack features that drive real impact for students, using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS services.
• Collaborate closely with design and product teams to develop user interfaces that are fast, accessible, and delightful.
• Build backend APIs and data flows to support rich UI functionality and performance.
• Own systems from design to deployment, including observability, testing, and performance.
• Improve our front-end architecture, design system, and shared component libraries to support scale and velocity.
• Work within a modern DevOps environment, contributing to infrastructure using tools like AWS CDK or Terraform where appropriate — without it being your main focus.

What We're Looking For:

• 4–6 years of professional software engineering experience in modern web development.
• Solid experience building full-stack applications, ideally using:
• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs
• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway)
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (e.g., IaC, CI/CD) and comfort working in cloud environments — you don’t need to lead these efforts, but you shouldn’t be blocked by them.
• A strong product mindset and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

• Experience contributing to or managing a design system
• Familiarity with content management tools or headless CMS

As an Account Manager on the Red Ventures' Education team, you will own full-funnel client success management from ideation and inception to ad deployment, including - but not limited to - partner engagement, program conceptualization, ad building, quality assurance, data storytelling and program optimization for our portfolio of higher education websites such as BestColleges.com. Role Summary and Impact

The role is responsible for proactively managing relationships and leading negotiations with media owners, ensuring that each negotiation is executed with clear and strategic direction. This position is pivotal in shaping and driving change in how we collaborate with agencies, particularly within the Centam/Puerto Rico market. As a strategic negotiator, the incumbent will be expected to develop innovative, collaborative strategies and elevate trading community negotiations by bringing fresh perspectives and focused deal-making skills. Effective negotiation leadership will not only establish a clear strategic direction but also deliver improved net results for the business.

• Focus to take the trading community negotiations to a higher level
• Drive and develop relationships of trust and respect with the media owner contacts.
• Support agency on proper communication regarding new trading models towards clients
• Help address major issues with media owners.
• Prioritizing the workload of self and team
• Help develop client briefs through thorough understanding of client business and objectives
• Lead the clients understanding of communication planning and implementation
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of all important stakeholders of your clients business including current and potential customers, retailers/other distribution points, shareholders and workforce
• Setting and monitoring negotiation/buying targets for team members in conjunction with heads of disciplines
• Obtaining maximum value for clients’ budgets in all media negotiations leveraging added value where appropriate
• Actively seeking creative and innovative media solutions
• Manage Clients Budget/ Tracking and Forecast
• Execute all client briefs and requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Certifications in areas such as Strategic Planning, Media Analytics, or Business Management are a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in media planning or marketing strategy, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven background in media negotiations, media planning, or media buying within the advertising or communications industry.
• Demonstrated experience in leading negotiations with media owners and managing key relationships.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, trading community environment.
• Track record of developing and executing innovative negotiation strategies that drive value for clients.

Additional Knowledge

• Deep understanding of media trading, negotiation tactics, and the evolving dynamics of the trading community.
• Proficiency in establishing and managing relationships with media owners, ensuring trust and respect.
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, with advanced proficiency required for professional interactions.
• Ability to support agencies with clear communication around new trading models and client briefs.
• Skilled in developing comprehensive communication plans and executing them effectively.
• Capacity to seek out and implement creative media solutions and strategies.
