Kyo is expanding in the Sacramento area and is seeking a BCBA committed to delivering high-quality, ethical ABA, supported by a collaborative and experienced clinical team. This is a hybrid remote position.

Part-Time & Full-Time Opportunities Available

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000

BCBAs AT KYO: 

• Lead individualized ABA programs across home, school, and community settings, supported by Kyo’s proprietary care application and data systems.
• Support the development of Behavior Therapists and BCBA Trainees.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Education and Skills: Master’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Active BCBA certification. 
• Transportation: Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client and business sites.
• Availability: Ability to provide client support within our service hours of 8:00am–7:00pm, Monday–Friday, with schedules determined based on your client needs
• Physical Ability: This job requires extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project resilience, building and managing robust risk frameworks that keep complex schedules on track. You’ll lead risk workshops, quantify cost and schedule exposure, and translate raw data into actionable strategies. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Identify potential scheduling risks and bottlenecks across the project. 
• Analyze project timelines, dependencies, and constraints to determine areas of risk. 
• Develop and implement strategies to minimize risks and optimize project schedules. 
• Create, maintain, and update project schedules to ensure timely delivery. 
• Work closely with project managers to understand project scope and objectives. 
• Coordinate with team leaders to guarantee resource availability aligns with the project timeline. 
• Regularly monitor project progress to identify any deviations from the schedule plan. 
• Provide risk-based reporting to leadership, including status of risk mitigation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in risk management and scheduling on large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects in transportation or transit sectors. 
• Strong understanding of risk management principles. 
• Proficiency with risk analysis and scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera Risk, Deltek Acumen Fuse, @Risk, etc.). 
• Proficiency with project and construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, etc.).      
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).                             

Preferred Qualifications 

• Master’s degree in business, project management, or engineering. 
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent). 
• Professional Engineering license in CA, or the ability to obtain it through reciprocity. 
• Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms for building interactive schedule dashboards and KPI visualizations. 

Compensation Details

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, finance, and project controls, ensuring that cost and risk strategies align with the scale and complexity of a world-class high-speed rail system. 
 
This is a long-term, full-time, on-site position located in Sacramento, CA. 

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Assist in gathering data for risk and cost assessments across project processes 
• Support the monitoring of project cost drivers, market factors, and external conditions that may affect budgets and risk exposure 
• Perform preliminary analyses using established qualitative and quantitative methods, including cost modeling and scenario analysis 
• Assist in integrating risk findings into cost estimates, forecasts, and contingency planning efforts 
• Support the development and tracking of risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with project controls, estimating, and scheduling teams 
• Prepare draft reports, presentations, and summaries for review by senior risk and cost analysts 
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of risk registers, cost assessments, and supporting documentation 
• Provide general administrative and analytical support to ensure consistency and accuracy in the risk and cost management processes.

• Master’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or business.  
• Active professional certifications such as CCM (CMAA), MRICS/FRICS (RICS), PMP (PMI), or CCA (AACE). 
• Experience in risk, cost, or project support roles on rail transit projects.   
• Familiarity with schedule risk analysis tools (e.g. @Risk, Primavera Risk Analysis, Deltek Acumen, Safran Risk, etc.).   
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Oracle Cloud Analytics, or other dashboard KPI reporting software.

Expected Salary: $86k-$120k/year ($42-$57/hour).
