Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will play be responsible for working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary workflow to deliver world class AUVs. This will require building complex electromechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists on AUV assembly and integration efforts
- Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVs
- Routing and servicing high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses
- Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build and test efficiency
- Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS components
- Contribute to all stages of the vehicle product development and manufacturing life cycle and provide feedback to the engineering team
- Help develop, document, and improve our workflows
- Help organize and establish our on-site manufacturing workflow
- Potential of traveling offshore to support our operations team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a mechanical field (automotive/marine, aerospace, industrial equipment)
- Familiar with simple fabrication processes, basic hand tools, and both plastic/metal part manufacturing
- A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- A full understanding of the manufacturing life cycle
- Experience working off of technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability
- Familiarity with building and maintaining electromechanical systems
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented

- Has a never-ending sense of urgency and enthusiasm
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)
- Previous experience hoisting equipment or MA state hoisting license (overhead gantry, rigging)
- Experience working with electrical components up to 400VDc
- Proficiency with electrical debug including use of tools such as a digital multimeter
- Machining and/or 3D printing experience
US Hourly Range
Manufacturing Technician/Level 2: $25 - $38/hour
Manufacturing Technician/Level 3: $22 - $28/hour

ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a manufacturing engineering team over a subset of Anduril’s products to drive process improvements, ensure the highest quality of production, and support the development and implementation of new products. You will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiencies on existing technologies while also developing new products and scaling to full scale production.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and directly manage a small team of manufacturing engineers overseeing a product line or distinct value-stream within manufacturing
- Run weekly 1v1 / team meetings, set prioritization focus, coordinate team scheduling, and provide concise status reporting
- Extremely high level of product ownership and adherence to manufacturing engineering best practices
- Organize DFX efforts and ensure timely completion of production readiness deliverables
- Mentor and support junior manufacturing engineers and serve as a role model for manufacturing excellence
- Deliver escalations to management with potential blockers, well-informed risk mitigation plans, and help needed
- Develop and execute strategic plans for manufacturing capacity and optimization
- Set standard for creation and review of technical drawings, blueprints, and process maps
- Oversee the execution of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Design, Quality, and Supply Chain, to ensure smooth production ramp-up for new products
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science
- 7+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
- 3+ years demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples
- Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment
- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus.
- A strong passion manufacturing and thirst for continuous improvement
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in maritime robotics (AUVs, UUVs, USVs, subsea sensors)
- Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDc
- Subsea cable splicing or fabrication experience
- Experience with pressure vessels and/or industrial pressure test equipment
- Prior experience working with JIRA, Siemens NX, Teamcenter (PLM), or Oracle (ERP) or equivalents
- Experience with large scale high mix manufacturing at different stages of product maturity

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts
- Take on the principal responsibilities of the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs in the field
- Lead day-to-day local operations for multiple AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis
- Deploy locally in support of at-sea AUV operations from a variety of support vessel types
- Write, review, and execute test plans during sea testing
- Coordinate test execution with 3rd party vendors, partners, and logistics companies
- Author detailed daily operational test reports to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV platforms and new capabilities
- Support software UI design for AUV systems
- Support user documentation for all aspects of AUV operations, including AUV user guide, mission planning guide, etc.
- Conduct routine design reviews of the platform under test with an eye towards improving operability and reducing learning curve for AUV at-sea operation
- Contribute to next-generation designs and features for the ANDURIL-LD, from identifying areas for improvement to leading test and evaluation efforts for new technology rollouts
- Carryout local AUV operations in Quonset, RI including supporting multiple nearshore sea test days per week
- Potential to travel and support customer facing operations up to 25% of the time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience operating robotic systems at-sea in a commercial or research offshore environment
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Experience with leading on deck operations utilizing ship based crane, a-frame, or dedicated AUV launch and recovery systems
- Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging
- Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and basic use of test equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer support skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to be in office in Quonset, RI daily when not deployed
- Ability to potentially deploy up to 25% of the time
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with software development
- Experience integrating subsea acoustic sensors, underwater navigation, and communication systems
- Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of offshore HSE policies and best practices

ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Lead Electronics Technician to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset, RI. Here you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics. The Lead Electronics Technician will report to the Production Supervisor and work alongside other Electronics Technicians, leading technician staff in the production and delivery of Pressure Vessels through testing. You will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally. This role will include building complex electromechanical assemblies.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes product knowledge, skills development, and X-training
- While executing manufacturing operations, apply a higher level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting and repair
- Prioritize work activities for operators to achieve target on time delivery goals. Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Ensure they are working on the right thing at the right time
- Be an active participant in 5S and continuous improvement activities. Provide feedback on ways to improve building process
- Complete transactions in digital production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA) on daily basis
- Ability to work on the line, provide training, and support new operator onboarding as required
- Show up every day with a high level of urgency and enthusiasm to get the job done
- Perform additional tasks in support of business objectives and/or to develop the individuals' skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in electronics working in relevant fields such as robotics, defense, or aerospace
- 1+ year of experience leading a team either in-kind or directly, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBAs) and wiring harness manufacturing
- Can interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment specs, electrical schematics, etc.)
- Extremely reliable, organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs pounds unassisted
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in sub-sea robotics (AUVs, UUVs, underwater equipment)
- Experience working with electrical systems up to 400VDc
- A self-motivated, self-disciplined individual is the ideal candidate for this position
- IPC 610 and/or 620 Certification

ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking several Lead Manufacturing Technicians to join our team at our Quonset, RI facility to support Dive-XL. Here you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics. You will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team in a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally. This will require hands-on work on hardware in a number of areas: composite and metallic structural fabrication and integration, electronic component fabrication & install onto structures, and software loading and full system checkouts. This also includes standing up our production line for Dive-XL in our Quonset facility.
Please note: This role requires international travel to Australia for 1 month for onboarding for knowledge transfer and training, as well as a 2-4 week stay at Anduril HQ within the first 90 days for additional training.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- The Lead Manufacturing Technician will report to the Manager, Production Operations and work alongside other manufacturing/electrical/test technicians, leading technician staff in the production and delivery of AUVs through testing
- While executing manufacturing operations, apply a higher level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting and repair
- Ensure all operators are following safety procedures and standard work tasks. Improve work area safety and efficiency through regular auditing and constant scrutiny
- Prioritize work activities for operators to achieve target on time delivery goals. Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Ensure they are working on the right thing at the right time
- Apply competency in use of hand tools, assembly tooling and general manufacturing equipment
- Utilize reading and comprehension skills to follow documented build instructions
- Be an active participant in 5S and continuous improvement activities. Provide feedback on ways to improve building process
- Complete transactions in computer production systems (MES, NetSuite, JIRA, SQL, Tableau) on daily basis
- Assist in weekly report out of production progress, blockers, risks, and needs
- Be aware of the escalation path for problems that arise on the floor and follow through to completion
- Ability to work on the line, provide training and support new operator training as required
- Build a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes product knowledge, skills development, and X-training
- Show up every day with a high level of urgency and enthusiasm to get the job done
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years experience in production-oriented manufacturing or electro-mechanical technician fields
- Prior experience leading a team either in-kind or directly, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A full understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), LEAN manufacturing principals, and change management (ECOs)
- Can interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, electrical schematics, etc.)
- Extremely reliable, organized and detail-oriented with excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs pounds regularly
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of operational leadership experience, leading a production team
- Experience working with ERP and MES systems
- Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws
- Experience working with high-voltage electrical components (up to 400VDc)
- Experience performing functional checkouts and tests, and diagnosing issues discovered during these processes
- Experience in sub-sea robotics or AUV industries

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- The Lead Test Technician will report to the Production Supervisor and lead/work alongside other test technicians
- Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and operations team on pressure vessel assembly and test as part overall AUV production integration
- While executing manufacturing operations, apply a higher level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting and repair
- Prioritize work activities for operators to achieve on time delivery goals. Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Ensure they are working on the right thing at the right time
- Ability to work on the line, provide training, and support new operator onboarding as required
- Perform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devices.
- Build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVs
- Execute on detailed sub-system End-of-Line (EOL) tests from prepared procedures
- Perform incoming quality inspection testing on PCBA’s
- Proficient at troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level.
- Help develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process
- 5S work areas, perform part inspections, close out work order, and follow safety best practices
- Support management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies (maintenance, calibrations, raw material stock)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years in electronics and test working in relevant fields such as robotics, defense, or aerospace
- Solid background in electronics/software working in relevant fields (Robotics, Defense, Avionics)
- Have experience with programming/testing a wide range of sensors, actuators, and electrical components
- Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems (LabVIEW, Test Stand, etc.)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, SHELL, or others
- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols: USB, Ethernet, RS232, RS485, PCIe, HDMI, CAN, etc
- Are well versed with complex electromechanical systems and are passionate about understanding what it takes to make them work reliably
- Prior experience leading a team either in-kind or directly, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience in preparing and executing test procedures with high levels of attention to detail
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and concepts

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. This responsibility includes Design for Manufacturability, tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, vendor sourcing & interaction, quality planning, and work documentation associated with the hardware that the Manufacturing Engineer owns.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for a certain product or set of products
- Write documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.
- Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes
- Work with contract manufacturers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metal/plastic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development as well as at-scale production
- Work with technicians and other engineers in a hands-on fashion building prototype hardware
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts
- Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication and inspection, etc.
- Frequent travel between Quonset/Quincy facilities is expected to facilitate production scale-up activities across both sites
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science
- 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
- Demonstrated ability to deliver electromechanical hardware to spec in a start-up environment
- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.). Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Technician to join our growing team in Quonset, RI. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology aimed at advancing the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics. You will play a key role in delivering our AUVs to our customers by working hands-on with our engineering team on a multi-disciplinary environment to scale our AUV production globally. This role will be testing complex electromechanical assemblies and integrating them into the final product!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and operations team on pressure vessel assembly and test as part overall AUV production integration
- Perform configuration tasks to flash/load correct SW/FW versions onto devices.
- Build, test, and integrate complex electrical and mechanical assemblies into our world class AUVs
- Execute on detailed sub-system End-of-Line (EOL) tests from prepared procedures
- Perform incoming quality inspection testing on PCBA’s
- Proficient at troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level.
- Help develop, document, and improve the pressure vessel production process
- 5S work areas, perform part inspections, close out work order, and follow safety best practices
- Support management of tools, equipment, and lab supplies (maintenance, calibrations, raw material stock)
- Potential of traveling offshore to support our operations team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Solid background in electronics working in relevant fields (Robotics, Defense, Avionics)
- Experience in preparing and executing test procedures with high levels of attention to detail
- Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and concepts
- Experience working off of technical documentation, electrical schematics, and engineering drawings
- Commitment to a high-quality product and strong sense of personal accountability
- Familiarity with basic electrical test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.

In this role, you will be responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. You will own Design for Manufacturability (DFM), tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, vendor sourcing & interaction, quality planning, and work documentation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment
- Design and optimize production processes for efficiency, scalability, and quality
- Create and review technical drawings, blueprints, and process maps
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and increase productivity
- Utilize Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to enhance manufacturing operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware
- Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a fast-paced environment environment
- Demonstrated technical leadership skills with an expertise in manufacturing
- Personal experience physically manufacturing hardware via any means (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly, etc.) Work on personal or extracurricular projects is a plus

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with an electronic, mechatronic or process engineering background to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset Point, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing Anduril’s manufacturing operations for best-in-class quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization, all while meeting critical customer and internal development timelines. The Process Engineer will be instrumental in taking a data-driven approach to designing production workstations and manufacturing processes to meet these objectives. Executing on this responsibility will entail active collaboration with Anduril teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations.
The right person for this role can demonstrate past ownership on solving operational challenges with creative solutions in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment. This person will be flexible to provide support wherever needed to ensure products are built and shipped under stringent quality standards. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design, document and implement efficient manufacturing processes to meet both new product development (NPI) and full-rate production goals through the development of process workflows and detailed work instructions.
- Proactively identify imbalances and bottlenecks caused by line layout, parts shortages, staffing shortages, and other production constraints by understanding cycle time and Quality metrics.
- Provide technical guidance to the production team as well as act as a liaison between engineering, supply chain and other departments to ensure project success.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to set quality standards, implement inspection processes and analyze product specifications to ensure manufacturing capabilities align with quality requirements.
- Organize and participate in workshops to generate new ideas that solve complex manufacturing issues.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and team engagement.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment where complex electrical assemblies were built.
- Solid understanding of hardware manufacturing processes for electronics (PCBAs, sensor hardware, battery power systems, cable harnesses etc.) and electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to own a product in manufacturing from start to finish; coordinating among multiple internal and external parties to achieve on-time deliveries under stringent quality standards
- Experience analysing material flow around a facility, including pull systems, Kanban, Min/ Max calculations, Part presentation to operator and line-side racking.
- Prior knowledge and interaction with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for production operations
- Prior knowledge of Oracle, NetSuite or a similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Strong technical ability to read technical documentation such as electrical schematic drawings, 3D CAD files,
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Anduril is fielding the next generation of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) to tackle the extremely challenging industry demands of seabed exploration. Anduril has brought to the market a unique, ultra-long-range, full-ocean-depth platform, and a completely refreshed maritime vehicle and flexible manufacturing architecture that scales from "large" to "extra-large" vehicle sizes. Today, Anduril is executing on multi-million-dollar contracts while simultaneously performing Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) AUV operations.

ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Quonset Point, RI. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril’s product hardware, across their lifecycles, by collaborating with suppliers and cross-functionally, including stakeholders in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Conduct supplier selection for a specific product, leveraging approved supplier list.
- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development via activities such as:
- Concept scoping to quickly solidify requirements
- Feature trade-off / trade tables
- Total Cost of Ownership modeling
- Joint design development, via clear statements of work
- Simulation of mechanical & electronics designs
- Drive commercial
- Development and execution of sourcing strategy via full market knowledge, supplier rationalization, commodity pricing plan and effective principles to drive efficiency and cost
- Drive the development and consolidation of a manufacturing BOM, working with Quality & Manufacturing, to ramp production internally and with our suppliers with high flexibility
- Accountable for all NPI component procurement, on-time and correctly, to scale up manufacturing operations
- Manage the request for and associated verification of supplier related CAPEX throughout NPI
- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
- Complete the BOM risk assessment and develop plan per part analysis
- Follow through completion of component qualifications by relevant stakeholders, ahead of production need dates
- Reduce complexity of supply chain through commonality optimization & component/supplier rationalisation
- Lead all cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost, maximizing the total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycle
- Manage ad-hoc cost issues e.g., tariffs / import export cost, and cost inflation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BSME, BSEE) or other related technical degree.
- Ideally has background within:
- Design & development of mechanical and/or electronics devices
- Advanced sourcing activities, including positions working as a commodity/sourcing manager
- Supplier development (technology, process, supply chain, etc.)
- Early supplier engagement, ahead of product/engineering requirement realization
- Domain expertise must include value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
- Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

We are seeking a Field Test Engineer to join Anduril, working in a cutting-edge start-up environment to advance the state-of-the-possible in subsea robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test efforts
- Take on the principal responsibilities of the hands-on troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVs in the field
- Lead day-to-day local operations for multiple AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, launch and recovery, vehicle tasking, and data analysis
- Deploy locally in support of at-sea AUV operations from a variety of support vessel types
- Write, review, and execute test plans during sea testing
- Coordinate test execution with 3rd party vendors, partners, and logistics companies
- Author detailed daily operational test reports to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV platforms and new capabilities
- Support software UI design for AUV systems
- Support user documentation for all aspects of AUV operations, including AUV user guide, mission planning guide, etc.
- Conduct routine design reviews of the platform under test with an eye towards improving operability and reducing learning curve for AUV at-sea operation
- Contribute to next-generation designs and features for the ANDURIL-LD, from identifying areas for improvement to leading test and evaluation efforts for new technology rollouts
- Carryout local AUV operations in Quonset, RI including supporting multiple nearshore sea test days per week
- Potential to travel and support customer facing operations up to 25% of the time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience operating robotic systems at-sea in a commercial or research offshore environment
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
- Experience with leading on deck operations utilizing ship based crane, a-frame, or dedicated AUV launch and recovery systems
- Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging
- Knowledge of electronics troubleshooting and basic use of test equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and customer support skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to be in office in Quonset, RI daily when not deployed
- Ability to potentially deploy up to 25% of the time
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with software development
- Experience integrating subsea acoustic sensors, underwater navigation, and communication systems
- Proficient in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of offshore HSE policies and best practices
