About this team
The AI Technology Team within our Product Technology Group serves as BOLD’s internal incubator for applied AI, leveraging the latest large-language models to tackle our most complex challenges. We are building an intelligent automation framework designed to solve real-world career workflows at scale. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about high-scale browser automation and agentic AI systems that reason, plan, and adapt. This role is hybrid; you'll collaborate in person with the engineering team in Guaynabo 2 days a week.

What you'll do
Build Agentic Systems: Implement multi-step workflows leveraging reasoning, self-reflection, and adaptive execution strategies.
Architect RAG Pipelines: Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and memory-augmented architectures to ensure long-term system adaptability.
Optimize LLM Performance: Refine prompts, experiment with few-shot learning, and utilize fine-tuned models to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
Innovate with Data: Explore NLP techniques, embeddings, and vector databases to drive continuous system improvement.
Ensure Reliability: Develop robust model evaluation frameworks to guarantee the accuracy and safety of AI-driven products.
Collaborate Globally: Work across high-performing, cross-functional teams to translate vision into end-to-end production features.
What you'll need
Experience Level: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-powered applications.
Core Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
AI Engineering Expertise: Proven experience building with LLMs, prompt chaining, and feedback loops.
Advanced Framework Knowledge: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, and/or LlamaIndex.
Architectural Savvy: Deep understanding of software stacks, database modeling, CI/CD, and service-oriented architectures.
Visionary Mindset: Familiarity with multi-modal models (vision + text) and a passion for staying ahead of the AI curve.
Communication: The ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
What's good to have
Experience with Python or web automation frameworks like Playwright.
Deep knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms (Regression, Neural Networks, Deep Learning).
Experience with self-hosted models, LoRA adapters, and fine-tuning.
Exposure to Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and deployment tools like Jenkins.
