Wargaming Prague is looking for a Senior 3D Environment Artist to work on new and exciting features for our groundbreaking MMO title World of Tanks, which has over 100 million players worldwide. 

As the Senior Environment Artist, you’ll be covering the full development cycle of complex photo-realistic 3D models for World of Tanks maps and hangars, mentor Environment artists in the team and supervise their work. You’ll also improve workflows and pipelines in the team, introducing new tools and approaches. You’ll work on organizing an internal library of photo-realistic tiled materials using UpToDate techniques and participate in asset pool planning for new maps and hangars, considering game specific and style consistency. 

To be successful, you need to be an experienced, proactive, open minded Environment Artist who is passionate about game development, using modern technologies and working in a collaborative multicultural environment.

What will you do?

• Create complex environment assets like buildings and modular architectural sets 

• Create complex photorealistic nature assets like mountains, rocks and trees 

• Create props that fit within a given biome or architectural setting 

• Mentor team members, introducing advanced pipelines and tools 

• Supervise work of your teammates, driving and pushing quality 

• Work on internal material library 

• Creating photorealistic materials and textures 

• Working closely with Game Designers, Level Artists, Tech Artists and Art Director to ensure that environments and assets match budgets, quality bar and art vision 

• Participating in the development of new tools and technologies for Wargaming's proprietary game engine

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of Environment Art experience gained in video game industry 

• Proven ability to create high quality photorealistic models and textures of AAA quality 

• Solid knowledge of Maya (or Blender), Zbrush, Photoshop and Substance products 

• Strong understanding of classic content production pipeline (LP, HP, NM Bake, Texturing, LODing)  

• A great eye for scale, proportion and composition 

• Excellent verbal and written skills, and be able to both take critique and give feedback internally and externally in a professional manner 

• Advanced English (С1) or higher 

• Strong internal motivation 

• Passion for innovation and keeping up with the latest industry trends 

• A portfolio with examples of landscape and architectural structures

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Strong understanding of architecture, color, shapes and composition 

• Experience in material creation and understanding of PBR workflow 

• Experience working with game engines (Unreal Engine, Unity, or proprietary engines) 

• Understanding Houdini workflow 

Work mode

• Onsite or hybrid (3 days per week in the Prague office) 

• For this position, relocation to Prague will be required. Our team will provide relocation support. Please note that candidates must be legally authorized to work in the Czech Republic at the time of application

Job Overview

The Product Marketing Manager for World of Tanks will serve as the key interface between the product team and the global marketing function, ensuring that product goals, player insights, and strategic directions are effectively translated into marketing actions.

This role focuses on owning the product’s marketing vision, providing clear context and direction to the marketing organization, and ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with product priorities, lifecycle stages, and audience needs.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in marketing strategy for video games, thrives in cross-functional collaboration, and can navigate complex organizational structures without friction—driving alignment, clarity, and measurable impact.

• World of Tanks Publishing Director

What will you do?

• Act as the primary liaison between the Product team and company's  Marketing centre of expertise, ensuring smooth coordination and shared understanding of product goals, messaging priorities, and upcoming milestones.
• Translate product objectives into clear marketing goals and deliverables, managing communication flow and ensuring alignment on strategy, timelines, and results.
• Partner with Marketing team to co-develop data-driven marketing and acquisition strategies that best support the product vision.
• Own the product marketing roadmap, defining key priorities and ensuring coherent execution across all marketing channels.
• Oversee and optimize the product marketing budget, aligning investments with key business outcomes such as brand awareness, engagement, and player acquisition.
• Analyze and present campaign and performance KPIs, turning insights into actionable recommendations for both product and marketing teams.
• Build a strong partnership with internal departments and functions e.g. community, legal, art, performance, advertisement and influencer outreach teams.
• Act as the brand steward for World of Tanks, ensuring all campaigns and communications reflect the product positioning and long-term brand goals.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in product marketing or strategic marketing within the video game industry.
• Demonstrated ability to bridge product and marketing functions, navigating cross-functional priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to turn data and insights into strategic action.
• Experience in planning and executing acquisition and branding campaigns.
• Passion for PC and online games.
• Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English.
• Team-oriented mindset and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach.

• Hands-on experience managing marketing ROI and brand growth metrics.
