A day in the life:
As a Senior Account Director, you’ll be responsible for working with clients in the Healthcare division. You will have a broad and varied background with hands-on experience across many digital marketing channels and tools. This role will work to drive performance through integrated marketing tactics across paid, owned and earned channels. As a seasoned business consultant, the Senior Account Director will guide and counsel clients on how marketing tactics can drive business outcomes. The Senior Account Director will manage direct reports and lead cross-functional account teams of highly-talented marketers by working closely to optimize their efforts and provide strategic guidance. In collaboration with Account Managers, they will spearhead service expansions, manage media, craft testing roadmaps and lead tactical pivots when necessary. Additionally, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership by gaining trust and providing unmatched strategic insight to their cross-functional account teams. Within the Client Services department, the Senior Account Director will also be responsible for leading key initiatives within the team such as talent acquisition, training or product quality. This is an exciting role for a seasoned digital marketer seeking an opportunity to lead innovative, growth-oriented marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Client-centric Communication: Establishes a strong relationship with client key decision makers by hosting monthly one-on-one check-ins to review holistic business performance, gauge sentiment, solicit feedback and share additional opportunities to support the business goals
- Marketing Strategy: Leads the cross-functional account teams with a comprehensive strategy across paid, owned and earned channels to meet or exceed client business objectives; Demonstrates proficiency in cross-channel media planning and testing roadmaps, including the connection of a client’s product, audience and media
- Client Performance & Results: Ensures that at least 75% of their client roster is hitting their goals/forecast targets within the partnership.
- Data-driven Insights: Leverages data and analytics, such as first-party data tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio, to identify strategic opportunities; Translates learnings into clear and concise reporting with actionable next steps
- Measurement Frameworks: Uses overlapping datasets to find the truth and make better marketing decisions; Prioritizes business metrics to guide strategy and budgets; Leverages platform or attribution metrics to inform tactical daily optimizations; Uses incrementality to validate when needed
- Team Coaching and Development: Leads by example and practices servant leadership; Delivers timely, specific feedback to team members to up-level business acumen and connect the marketing objectives to business objectives
- Existing Account Manager Support: Shadows and provides coaching and feedback to new hires within the first 90 days and/or existing Account Managers to ensure high product quality and assist in coaching any skill gaps
- Client Portfolio: Manages a diverse set of clients totaling with specific target monthly recurring revenue
- Client Retention: Leads the contract renewal strategy by following the established client renewal process and timelines. Takes a proactive approach to the process, beginning at least 90 days in advance of the contract expiration date by preparing the presentation and proposal development alongside the Account Manager to extend client partnerships. Reviews and analyzes client contracts on a regular basis to ensure goals are on target
- Service Expansions: Works with the Account Manager and the internal account team to identify additional strategies to improve performance and expand client partnerships.
- Own the strategic coaching and development of Account Managers and Resource Team leads, ensuring teams can independently connect channel execution to client business outcomes and confidently lead client conversations
- Elevate client-facing excellence across accounts, coaching teams on storytelling, executive presence, and emotional intelligence to deliver clear, polished recommendations
- Scale team capability and consistency, developing AMs as strategic leaders, reinforcing shared expectations across accounts, and balancing client demands with team capacity to drive sustainable performance.
- Department Operations: Plays an active role in supporting key department initiatives such as recruitment, staffing, training, onboarding and more
- Specialty Focus Area: Identifies a focus area within the department that aligns with the individual’s skill set; Creates a roadmap alongside the Account Manager to enhance and optimize that focus area (e.g., Training, Reporting, Talent Acquisition)
- Responsible for other tasks and projects as assigned by Client Services department leadership, as needed
- Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication or related discipline
- 10+ years cross-channel digital marketing experience, including: strategic planning, consumer insights, digital integration and client services, ideally in a digital or media agency
- Proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction scores through NPS or similar retention metrics
- Strong understanding of paid media, particularly Google Ads and Meta Ads
- Working knowledge of SEO, Analytics, and Creative workflows and deliverables
- Experience speaking to business-level metrics such as LTV:CAC, ROAS, etc.
- Proficiency in establishing goals for clients and validating forecast scenarios to show a path to goal
- Campaign leadership skills for end-to-end campaign development including strategy, segmentation, targeting, etc. in a multi-channel environment
- Ability to quickly build rapport and develop relationships with executive-level points of contact
- Desire to work in a role that functions as both a marketing consultant and a business consultant for clients

- Experience contributing to or working with Design Systems or Design Platforms in a product context
- Comfortable leading and advising research activities, employing methods such as contextual inquiry, moderated interviews, usability testing, and experiments

A day in the life:
- As the Paid Advertising Strategist, you are responsible for owning the execution, performance, and growth of campaigns within your book of business. You are oriented towards the clients’ business success, tying your efforts to the greater business goals. You are self-started and autonomously own your responsibilities. You work hand-in-hand with account leadership to ideate and evolve the strategy of your service within the broader media mix. You are responsible for owning reporting, optimizations, client communication, and execution of keyword research, ad copy development, bid optimizations, and routine campaign management, sometimes with the support of a Specialist. As the Strategist, you are excellent at providing insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients on an ongoing basis, and have a strong understanding of your service’s strategy and the levers to pull to drive performance
Responsibilities:
- Full ownership and execution of performance marketing via paid social & paid media native platforms
- Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Youtube Ads, Bing Ads
- Effectively executing builds and production A-Z with redundancy across channels; facilitating production with Specialists on teams where applicable
- Lead execution of optimizations with regards to performance improvements relative to goals
- Manage all client budgets and/or advise on budget changes based on your expertise
- Effectively own strategic communication internally for client teams
- Proactive internal communication with team on performance, strategy, recommendations, deliverables, and action items; facilitating tactical needs with Specialist where applicable
- Weekly client progress recaps, outlining performance insights and future recommendations
- Excellent marketing and business strategy acumen
- Complete understanding of the marketing funnel and how to execute via paid social and paid media
- Full understanding of the eCommerce model and lead gen strategies
- Ability to navigate roadblocks and adapt strategy to changes in landscape to achieve desired results

Role Requirements:
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience. 1-2 years in agency setting
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Direct Response marketing; specifically in E-Commerce, Lead Gen or B2B
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Meta Ads for direct response campaigns
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Search Engine Marketing
- Specifically having experience with campaign development and optimization processes such as bid optimization, keyword research, and ad copy development
- Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following additional campaign types: Performance Max, Standard Shopping, YouTube Ads, Display Advertising, Local campaigns & Bing Ads
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s)
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing and paid media’s place in the funnel
