The Data Centre Operations team is responsible for the physical core of our business, ensuring the overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of our data centre infrastructure. This position involves hands-on hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair, playing a critical role in maintaining our high-performance computing environment.
About the role: You will maintain data centre operations to ensure service reliability through the conduct of hardware diagnostics and root cause analysis of failures. Your day-to-day includes assembling and installing equipment, maintaining inventory, and developing scripts to update server and networking hardware. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation and a shift pattern to provide after-hours support as needed. Additionally, you will support the development of documentation and provide technical training to internal teams.
