THE JOB

As a Customer Experience Coordinator, your job is to define the customer’s experience through service, focus, and participation—so you are passionate about perfecting the experience before, during, and after their time at VEG. Outgoing and personable, with each customer, you conduct yourself professionally in both demeanor and presence. You find ways to say YES and put pets and customers experience above all else. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to grow where you want to go, building valuable experience and paving the way for your career to take unexpected and rewarding directions. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greet every customer with warmth and urgency, whether in person, over the phone, or online
• Oversee all customer communications (calls, emails, texts), record details accurately, and route urgent medical calls to a doctor quickly
• Deliver personalized, memorable experiences—always looking for creative ways to say “yes” to customer needs
• Listen with empathy, resolve concerns quickly, and anticipate issues before they escalate
• Keep nurses and doctors updated on customer needs for a seamless care experience.
• Provide confidential, compassionate guidance on financial options and end-of-life decisions
• Process payments accurately while protecting personal and financial information.
• Follow up with customers after visits to check on their pet’s care and strengthen relationships
• Celebrate and capture special moments (with permission), creating lasting connections between customers, their pets, and the hospital

WHAT YOU NEED 

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role 
• Advanced proficiency in computer programs and practice management software 
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills; able to interact positively with anyone and everyone 
• The ability to multitask and thrive amid chaos
• High emotional intelligence, able to read a room and plan and act accordingly 
• Adaptable and amenable in high stakes environments 
• Problem solving skills and a focus on innovation
• Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong or unpleasant odors
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis based on hospital needs
• Work well in a fast-paced environment with people from all backgrounds and different personality types

THE JOB

As a per diem Emergency Veterinarian, you’re more than just passionate about helping people and their pets; you thrive on it, especially when they need you most. At VEG, we find a way to say yes to supporting you, so you can be the best, most confident ER professional possible and grow your career in unexpected directions. You’ll handle any emergency that comes through the door, from routine cases to complex surgeries, and treat every kind of pet, including exotics! As a leader on the hospital floor, you’ll have the chance to be a superhero for your customers, backed by a team and resources that empower you to take your career further than you ever imagined.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Answer medical questions over the phone 
• See patients right away as part of the VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, our unique, customer-centered way of doing things—like ensuring people see a doctor right away and allowing families to stay with their pets 
• Gather the signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and physical exam 
• Conduct physical examinations of animals, along with other required investigatory measures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies 
• Complete a diagnosis of each pet's condition to create a diagnostic and therapeutic plan
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment options directly with customers
• Prepare estimates and present them to customers
• Create and review medical records to ensure accuracy
• Demonstrate the value of tests and treatments performed by speaking with the customer and addressing their concerns
• Perform minor and major emergency surgeries
• Perform endoscopic procedures
• Educate customers on after care and preventative measures where appropriate 

WHAT YOU NEED

• A DVM or equivalent degree
• Live and breathe emergency medicine, including emergency surgery (the soft tissue kind!) and endoscopy
• Thrive in team-oriented environments (think hospital retreats, team dinners, happy hours, and more)
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance
• Must be willing to work in a noisy environment with strong or unpleasant odors
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as needed basis based on hospital needs
• Work well in a fast-paced environment with people from all backgrounds and different personality types

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and the professionalism to provide excellent client service. This role requires occasional travel to our Houston headquarters (approximately once per quarter) and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team in a firm that is expanding nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses
• Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation
• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, explain processes, and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed
• Contribute to process improvements by following and refining documented procedures
• Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Tennessee State Bar membership required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate; mass tort or probate experience a plus
• Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations preferred
• Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PACER and Excel experience helpful
