Overview
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This team builds and maintains the foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. It's a critical role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of product and infrastructure, thinks strategically, and is passionate about designing clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance the user experience.

Overview
We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.

This is a key role and ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, passionate about making product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems and Power professional to lead and supervise the development and integration of flight control, avionics and power systems in our electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft program. This role will be responsible for overseeing a multidisciplinary team of engineers and collaborating across departments to ensure the successful design, development, testing, and certification of flight control, avionics, electrical and powertrain systems in compliance with aerospace standards.

You will be responsible for planning evaluation items and test items in accordance with the control requirement specifications for a flying car (manned drone), and for compiling control design reviews.
The control system for a flying car, which incorporates a variety of functions and equipment in a compact fuselage, is complex and precise. In order to operate the aircraft as a passenger aircraft, type certification activities are also extremely important. This position is important to ensure the safety and reliability of the aircraft control system by conducting design reviews based on the control requirement specifications and by defining evaluation and test items to properly evaluate and verify the control design, from overall control to each control function, to facilitate design activities.
The successful candidate will lead a team in charge of control law evaluation and promote collaboration and cooperation with each team and member of the control design team.
The "flying car" is the most advanced development in the world, combining "technology for flying" and "power electronics". You will be responsible for the development of SkyDrive’s complete aircraft real-time capable simulation models deployed on desktop computers and piloted engineering simulators. The simulation model is used for aircraft design and certification activities, for safety of flight assessment prior to actual flight test and for test pilot training. You will be involved in the development and integration of simulation models with the company’s engineering simulation devices.
You may also be called upon to develop, support, and maintain the simulation team’s software tools used to increase the team’s productivity and efficiency. These tools include requirements management, version and configuration control, data visualization, automation of tasks.
