Project Description

As part of the DevOps team, you will be embedded within one or more software engineering teams to deliver infrastructure and operational support. You’ll take ownership of delivering scalable, automated systems and services. Your work will help bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and performant infrastructure across a modern microservices architecture. You’ll be expected to operate infrastructure in AWS, build CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support both development teams and live production systems.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions with a strong focus on automation and scalability;
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure in large-scale production environments;
• Support developers with deployment, observability, and reliability tooling;
• Develop scripts and automation tools for monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure tasks;
• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to maintain operational excellence;
• Maintain system documentation, deployment procedures, and best practices;
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement tuning strategies;

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps roles supporting large-scale production environments;
• Expertise with AWS;
• Strong Linux skills, with advanced knowledge of system internals and networking;
• Knowledge of Victoria Metrics, Click House, and Grafana;
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Chef, Terraform, or Ansible;
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby;
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration;
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios, or InfluxDB;
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tools;
• English: B1+ level (spoken and written);

The Data Operations Team's primary responsibility is to build, support and maintain the data pipelines database infrastructure and maintain efficient data stores. They work on improving reliability, scalability and efficiency of databases, data pipelines and data stores by engineering solutions that hosts the large amount of data the team uses as well as monitor, alert and auto-remediate issues that rises.

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle RAC and MySQL database administration;
• Solid experience with RAC/Data Guard maintenance, database installation and upgrades, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management;
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems;
• Good understanding of system administration principles;
• Experience with other databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL);
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ruby;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

Job Requirements

• Experience with or knowledge of AWS and physical infrastructure (other cloud is a plus);

• Troubleshooting skills and experience with Linux;
• Understanding of Linux, networking, and internet fundamentals;
• Understanding of monitoring infrastructure and applications (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB);
• Scripting skills in one or more of the following: Bash, Python;
• Experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (or similar);
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins);
• Confident use of Git, including branching, pull requests, and code review;
• Basic understanding of security concepts, including secrets management, IAM, and HTTPS/TLS;
• Ability to work with logs and identify the root cause of failures;
• Ability to work independently and deliver tasks with minimal supervision;
• Readiness to participate in on-call / shift duties on a rotating schedule;
