Controls Electrician
-Open Position -

Position Title: Controls Electrician
Position Description: The Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment and this electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used on automation equipment projects. Willing to train entry level candidate with electrical knowledge.
•Serves as a Controls Electrician team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment
•Assemble & wire electrical panels and machine wiring according to approved design and customer specifications.
•Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
•Communicate with the project team on open issues and progress during the build process.
•Assist with the successful execution of equipment builds including cost, quality, timing, and customer satisfaction.
•Effectively and safely troubleshoot wiring and circuits
•Read and understand schematics
•Problem solve issues / poke yokes / cycle time
•Travel for install and runoffs with customer
•Identify electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary
•Work cross-functionally with all departments during all phases of the project including de-bug and runoff

Education and Experience Requested:
•High school diploma or equivalent certificate
•Preferred two (2) years electrical experience with equipment building
•Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed
•High regard for safety standards
•Willingness to travel up to 20% (local, national, international)
Salary: $20.00 - $32.00/hour (Wage dependent on experience)
Additional Compensation: Overtime pay, travel pay

Lead Controls Electrician

Position Title: Lead Controls Electrician
Position Description: The Lead Controls Electrician serves as a team member in the electrical assembly process for automation equipment. This electrician is responsible for panel building and wiring of electrical components used on automation equipment projects.
Lead Responsibilities:
•Lead and guide electrical team members across multiple projects
•Monitor build progress to ensure timelines are met
•Act as the primary communicator for electrical status and open issues during the build process
•Support onboarding and mentoring of new team members
•Build and wire custom panels and systems per design and spec
•Interpret and follow electrical schematics and customer documentation
•Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
•Document changes and communicate updates throughout the build process
•Support project success by focusing on quality, cost, and customer satisfaction
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams through all stages of the project
•Participate in on-site installations & Support

Qualifications
•Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience wiring custom automated machinery
•Proven ability to lead and coordinate a team
•Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
•High attention to safety and detail
•Comfortable reading schematics and working with complex mechanical systems
•Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, OneNote)
•Team player with strong communication and self-direction
•Willingness to travel up to 20% (local, national, international)
Salary: $32.00 - $40.00/hour (Wage based on Experience)
Additional Compensation: Overtime pay, travel pay
