Role Summary and Impact

As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Data Engineer Manager who will:

• Collaborate closely with a team of data engineers, developers, and UX designers to create and optimize data pipelines and workflows supporting media performance reporting.
• Manage the design, build, and maintenance phases of client reporting projects.

Skills and Experience

Base salary is set according to market rates for the nearest major metro and varies based on Launch Potato’s Levels Framework. Job Summary/Purpose As the Manager of Data Operations, you will hold a critical, high-impact role responsible for the integrity and efficiency of our marketing data infrastructure. You will manage the development and maintenance of our business intelligence tools, data pipelines, and data quality compliance processes. This is a hands-on role where you will act as the crucial intermediary between our BI and Technology teams, translating business needs into technical requirements and solutions. You will be the subject matter expert for our core data systems, driving projects from requirement gathering to completion and ensuring the highest standards of data governance. Key Responsibilities and Functions 

• Execute and continuously advance media measurement for Unilever campaigns, including the setup and reporting for campaigns, ROI analysis, attribution, and evaluation of campaign effectiveness, adhering to WPP's best practices and methodologies.  

• Develop data-driven insights and actions that translate analytics into clear business narratives and recommendations, aligning with Unilever business goals while maintaining WPP's analytical rigor. 

• Collaborate closely with internal WPP Unite teams and external partners on measurement projects, custom studies, and KPI development in support of the Unilever account. 

• Support the development, automation, and evangelization of data inputs/outputs and dashboards tailored for Unilever's needs, leveraging WPP's tooling and expertise where appropriate.

 Job Requirements 

Education and Experience: 

• 3–5 years in media analytics, market research, or related fields, ideally within an agency or consultancy environment. 

• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus. 

• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), Excel, and basic coding (SQL, Python preferred). 

• Experience with media measurement, campaign analytics, and data storytelling, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable client recommendations.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
