Introduction
The Automated Integrated Product Support (IPS) Programme Office (LN) of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) is responsible to provide responsive, effective and cost-efficient electronic, automated and integrated logistic support on behalf of NATO or NATO Member Nations.
NDSS is an automated and integrated logistics software support tool designed, developed and supported by NSPA. It covers the main logistic functionalities such as item management, stock management, requisitioning, procurement, fleet management, transport request, maintenance and repair, property accounting and property disposal.
The modules of the application software are written in PowerBuilder and Microsoft .Net, and are implemented in a client/server environment. Web front-end of NDSS is implemented using 3-tier Architecture.
NDSS is active in 31 user organizations across NATO and areas of NATO operations.
NSPA is involved in different development projects regarding the functional evolution of NDSS and its maintenance and is also involved in the support of other integrated logistics tools.
The contracted staff shall assist NDSS team in developing and implementing different projects based on PowerBuilder and .Net technologies.
Role Responsibilities
The IT System Engineer shall work within the platform team dedicated to the infrastructure support and maintenance. He / she shall be in charge of the infrastructure and shall have the following tasks and responsibilities:

The NSPA operates under the direction of the NATO Support and Procurement Organization (NSPO), which sets the strategic goals and policies for the agency. By centralizing and standardizing procurement and logistics services, the NSPA helps NATO members achieve cost savings, improved interoperability, and enhanced operational capability.
The program
The NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) requires Project Support and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) consultancy services for implementing, operating and maintaining complex eBusiness solutions integrated in the NSPA environment, using the latest web technologies, Relational and non-Relational Databases, integration techniques and standards (synchronous and asynchrounous interfaces), cyber security layers and concepts.
Role Background
The scope of the role involves implementation, operations and maintenance of complex e-Business solutions based on Microsoft .NET technologies, relational and non-relational databases and the latest development frameworks and libraries available for web-based solutions.

The Principal Solutions Architect will own the end‑to‑end design of complex customer/prospect solutions built on top of our social media management platform, with a strong focus on integrations, workflows, and measurable business value. The Littlepay Platform Team provides tooling and support for our Engineering organisation, owns shared and fundamental services, and collaborates with teams for their DevOps or infrastructure projects. Joining the Infra side of the team, you’ll be working closely with your Infra team mates and with the Platform Devex team on build systems, production support, and PCI-compliant infrastructure. You’ll encourage and support DevOps practises through tooling, vendor management and support. You’ll also work on and be on call for our base infrastructure across the platform, including networking, ECS runtime, PKI and RDS.
