About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong enterprise JVM experience. This role is a good fit for someone proactive and excited by complex engineering challenges at the intersection of production systems, developer tools, and AI agents.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and lead the development of product features.
- Develop tooling and automation for AI-first engineering workflows.
- Work on enterprise integrations and deployment scenarios across Kubernetes and cloud environments.

Overview
We're looking to hire for our Data side of our AI team at Speechify. This role is responsible for all aspects of data collection to support our model training operations. We are able to build high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost through a tight integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research work. We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join us.
What You’ll Do
- Be scrappy to find new sources of audio data and bring it into our ingestion pipeline
- Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, currently running on GCP and managed with Terraform.
- Collaborate closely with our Scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.
- Collaborate with others on the AI Team and Speechify Leadership to craft the AI Team’s dataset roadmap to power Speechify’s next-generation consumer and enterprise products.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
- Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments
- Proficiency in Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and professional experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (we use GCP)
- Experience with web crawlers, large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

MUST HAVE:

YOUR ROLE
Lead scalable data engineering efforts that empower cross-functional teams with reliable, timely, and actionable data, ensuring Launch Potato’s analytics and business intelligence infrastructure fuels strategic growth.
OUTCOMES
- Build and optimize scalable, efficient ETL and data lake processes that proactively catch issues before they impact the business
- Own the ingestion, modeling, and transformation of structured and unstructured data to support reporting and analysis across all business units
- Partner closely with BI and Analytics to deliver clean, query-ready datasets that improve user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth
- Maintain and enhance database monitoring, anomaly detection, and quality assurance workflows
- Serve as the internal point of contact for reporting infrastructure—delivering ad hoc data analyses and driving consistent data integrity
- Drive adoption and advancement of Looker dashboards by ensuring robust and scalable backend data support

Responsabilidades:
- Desarrollar componentes de interfaz de usuario utilizando Angular 18+ y su ecosistema moderno.
- Implementar arquitecturas frontend limpias y escalables usando Standalone Components y Signals.
- Consumir e integrar APIs REST existentes, asegurando una correcta gestión del estado y los datos.
- Optimizar el rendimiento de la aplicación mediante estrategias de renderizado, vistas diferidas y buenas prácticas.
- Garantizar la seguridad del frontend (manejo de sesiones, guards de rutas, interceptores).
- Asegurar la correcta visualización responsive en distintos navegadores y dispositivos.
- Participar activamente en revisiones de código y proponer mejoras técnicas y de arquitectura.

Requerimientos:
- Experiencia mínima de 3 años como desarrollador/a frontend.
- Experiencia comprobable en Angular 17/18, con uso de Signals.
- Dominio de Standalone Components, nuevas sintaxis de control de flujo (@if, @for) y vistas diferidas (@defer).
- Conocimientos sólidos en TypeScript avanzado (genéricos, interfaces, utility types).
- Experiencia avanzada en consumo de APIs REST con HttpClient e interceptores (JWT, manejo de errores).
- Manejo fluido de RxJS y flujos asíncronos.
- Dominio de CSS3, Flexbox, Grid y frameworks como Tailwind CSS o Angular Material.
- Experiencia en testing unitario con Jasmine/Karma o Jest.

At JetBrains, we build developer tools that help engineers stay focused on solving hard problems instead of fighting routine work.
Within JetBrains AI, we are collaborating with Zed on the Agent Client Protocol (ACP), an open protocol that lets AI coding agents work inside editors and IDEs. ACP is already supported in JetBrains AI Assistant, and the project is jointly governed by JetBrains and Zed. We see ACP as a long-term investment in interoperability, developer choice, and durable AI-powered workflows across the JetBrains ecosystem. (The JetBrains Blog).
ACP evolves in the open. Real-time coordination happens in Zulip, actionable work is tracked in GitHub Issues, longer-form discussion happens in GitHub Discussions, and substantial protocol changes move through the RFD process. We need someone who can help JetBrains shape that work from the product side: define the right developer scenarios, align internal and external stakeholders, and turn ecosystem needs into clear priorities for JetBrains and for the protocol. (Agent Client Protocol).
This is not a generalist product management role. It is also not a pure protocol engineering role. It sits between developer-experience product work and protocol evolution.
This role is often a strong fit for someone who has spent several years as a software engineer – ideally on APIs, SDKs, web/backend systems, libraries, frameworks, or platform integrations – and then moved into product management or a hybrid product or engineering role.
This will be an exciting opportunity if you:
- Want to shape an open interoperability layer for AI-native software development.
- Enjoy turning messy cross-team technical discussions into clear product direction.
- Like working with engineers, agent developers, and external partners to make complex systems usable and durable.
In this role, you will:
- Identify and prioritize the developer scenarios JetBrains should support through ACP in JetBrains IDEs.
- Study how those scenarios are already handled in CLIs and agents, and define coherent IDE-native flows that JetBrains should support.
- Work on examples such as plan mode, sub-agent workflows, or agent-to-agent communication, and turn them into clear scenario definitions and product requirements.
- Talk to JetBrains product and engineering teams, external agent developers, and partners to collect requirements, constraints, and compatibility concerns.
- Turn those inputs into crisp problem statements, GitHub Issues, success criteria, and roadmap priorities.
- Partner closely with protocol engineers and ACP maintainers to translate validated scenarios into protocol proposals, implementation requirements, and delivery plans.
- Represent JetBrains in regular protocol conversations with Zed and the broader ACP community, helping drive alignment on what belongs in the protocol, what should remain implementation-specific, and what should wait.
- Balance immediate JetBrains product needs against long-term protocol design concerns such as extensibility, backward compatibility, clarity, and ecosystem fit.
- Define and monitor the right telemetry and product metrics for ACP-related surfaces, including agent installation success, authentication success, protocol feature adoption, task completion, reliability, and developer satisfaction.
- Help JetBrains make long-term, product-quality decisions about supporting ACP across multiple IDE experiences.
- Communicate decisions, trade-offs, and priorities clearly to highly technical stakeholders inside and outside JetBrains.
We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:
- Have 1-4 years of product management experience, or equivalent end-to-end ownership in a hybrid engineering/product role.
- Have a substantial software engineering background and hands-on production coding experience in real systems.
- Understand how modern web and integration primitives work in practice, including OAuth, WebSockets, HTTP, JSON-RPC, and service-to-service communication.
- Are comfortable reasoning about APIs, protocols, payload schemas, event-driven systems, authentication flows, local/remote execution, and backward compatibility.
- Can discuss technical details credibly with engineers and agent developers, even when the conversation goes deep into protocol behavior, edge cases, or extensibility.
- Can take raw technical feedback and turn it into clear user scenarios, requirements, issue tickets, and written decisions.
- Have strong product judgment and can distinguish between a JetBrains-specific UX choice and a protocol-level capability that should be standardized.
- Have a data-driven mindset and know how to combine telemetry, qualitative feedback, and ecosystem signals in product decisions.
- Have strong spoken and written English.
We’d be especially thrilled if you:
- Previously worked as a senior software engineer, staff engineer, library/framework maintainer, SDK owner, or platform/integration engineer before moving closer to product work.
- Have experience with developer tools, IDEs, AI coding agents, CLI workflows, or interoperability layers such as LSP, MCP, or ACP.
- Have contributed to open-source projects or standards-like processes.
- Are comfortable working in public GitHub workflows with Issues, Discussions, pull requests, and proposal documents.
- Have built or supported products where compatibility, extensibility, and future-proofing mattered.

The ML Workflows Engineering team is dedicated to removing infrastructure challenges, streamlining machine learning operations (MLOps), and enabling teams to focus on the innovative work that matters most – building impactful ML models and intelligent agents. As part of the team, you'll play a key role in designing tools, automation, and pipelines that make machine learning development seamless and intuitive.
By integrating cutting-edge MLOps practices and engineering excellence, we aim to maximize productivity and remove the complexity of ML infrastructure so that our teams can push the boundaries of what’s possible in AI.
As part of our team, you will:
- Build tools, automation, and workflows to simplify infrastructure-heavy tasks, empowering AI teams to focus on experimentation and solving core challenges.
- Develop robust monitoring, logging, and tracing systems to ensure the performance and reproducibility of ML workflows in production.
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end machine learning pipelines to enable the seamless development, training, and deployment of ML models and intelligent agents.
- Work with large-scale distributed systems, including GPU clusters, to support training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of ML models.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to transform high-level goals into concrete, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Optimize workflows for reproducibility, scalability, and cost-efficiency while keeping ML teams productive and focused on innovation.
We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you have:
- Hands-on experience with modern MLOps tooling, including Kubernetes, Cloud providers (GCP and AWS), and ML orchestration frameworks.
- A solid understanding of the ML lifecycle from idea to the customer-facing application.
- The ability to own projects end to end, starting from a high-level problem or product pain point and overseeing it through the design, experimentation, implementation, and iteration phases.
- A customer-centric mindset – you care about how ML engineers are actually working and can translate their needs into actionable, scalable, and maintainable architectural decisions.
- Experience with modern CI/CD systems, like GitHub Actions or JetBrains TeamCity.
- At least three years of Python experience writing clean, maintainable code in modern ML codebases.
Our ideal candidate would have experience with:
- ML orchestrators and workflow tools such as ZenML, Dagster, and Airflow.
- Developing infrastructure components and services using cluster solutions like Kubernetes.
- The development of Python-based backend services.
- Creating and maintaining ML pipelines, including legacy ones.
- Experiment tracking and observability using tools like Weights & Biases, MLflow, Langfuse, or similar.
We’d be especially thrilled if you have experience with:
- LLM inference frameworks such as vLLM, DeepSpeed, and TensorRT.
- Writing and maintaining Python libraries used by internal (or external) ML engineers.
- A strong theoretical background in NLP and transformer-based approaches.
- Writing code in Java and/or Kotlin.

We're building an AI copilot for web testing automation. It enables manual and automation QA engineers to turn their manual testing flows into production-ready automated E2E testing scripts, saving hours of manual work and coding. We are a small team with zero bureaucracy, focusing on real users. We optimize for shipping value - not hype.
About the role:
You'll own the entire frontend and product UX, meaning you decide how the product looks, feels, and works. You'll design flows, build the UI, maintain the architecture, and set the quality bar for anything that touches the interface. Backend and AI are covered by a strong team of engineers.
Your focus in the first three months:
- Refactor backend-frontend communication and state management. The current architecture was vibecoded – you'll make it ready for feature scaling.
- Establish a clean design system from existing components.
- Ship token-by-token LLM response streaming to improve perceived performance.
- Design user onboarding from scratch.
- Build a user-friendly error system with clear resolution paths.

A design/frontend engineer who can take a vague problem and turn it into a clear, usable, production-ready feature.
What matters most:
- Design-first thinking and UX intelligence over pixel perfection. You care more about whether something makes sense than whether it looks “pretty”.
- Strong product intuition. You notice UX friction, small paper cuts, and architectural smells – and feel responsible for fixing them.
- Prototype-and-ship mentality. You explore options quickly, consider alternatives, choose a direction, and move on.
Required experience:
Tech stack: React, TypeScript (web or desktop applications)
- Strong working knowledge of React and frontend architecture – enough to keep the codebase clean while actively using AI coding tools.
- Experience designing and implementing frontend systems end to end, not just isolated components.
- A portfolio or examples showing full ownership: projects where you designed and built the frontend yourself.
- At least one full year of experience in a startup or fast-moving team.
- Active experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) with a clear understanding of when they help – and when they hurt.
Nice to have:
We’d be especially excited if you have experience with any of the following (side projects count):
- Product design or product management.
- Electron or desktop app development.
- E2E testing – you’ve written tests yourself or worked closely with test automation.
- Early-stage or 0-to-1 projects where UX quality was critical.
- AI-powered products or LLM-based features.
