The role

This role is part of the international Customer Operations group.

In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding and verifying new GoCardless customers, as well as conducting Customer Due Diligence reviews for existing clients, ensuring all processes are both compliant and customer-centric. As a senior member of the Customer Operations team, the KYC Specialist will also act as a primary escalation point for compliance-related issues, both within the team and across other departments.

Working hours

Monday - Friday, 10 am - 7 pm

We are a 24x7 operation and require our employees to demonstrate a willingness to work on some bank holidays.

The role

Our mission as the Payment Intelligence team is to augment our bank payments product with intelligent data products that differentiate our offering and increase our win rates.

Our focus areas are our existing products, Success+ and Protect+. This means creating market-leading payment recovery rates and fraud prevention products.

 Projects in the pipeline that align to these focus areas are:

• Improve payment recovery rates for failed Account to Account payments.
• Improve fraud detection rates of our ML models and rules based systems
• Improve the consumer authentication flow experiences for high risk payments.

As an engineer, you will be actively working on projects that help grow the adoption of these products while improving the experience of using the same and coming up with ideas for new product features in this space. The role

We are seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Riga office.

You will be primarily responsible for driving the recruitment of exceptional talent across our Product Development (PD) functions. The role

The technical challenges in GoCardless span from building support for banking schemes to optimising technical processes. We’re looking for engineers to join our growing Connectivity Group, where you’ll be working on problems that sit at the core of GoCardless: building and maintaining the bank and scheme integrations that make it possible to keep our merchants’ cash flowing.

We endeavour to build simple, reliable and performant systems, and we believe in using the best technologies for each task. Payment Intelligence

Our mission is to make GoCardless the best way to pay and be paid. Our ambition is to dramatically improve payment performance and safeguard our customers from bad outcomes like payment fraud and failures. You will help find data opportunities and areas to improve our payment intelligence products. You should be comfortable with large data sets, customer data, and machine learning principles. You’ll work alongside Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists in our two core Payment Intelligence teams to provide critical insights and help drive product direction.

Our existing Payment Intelligence Products are already one of the key reasons why customers choose GoCardless. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will guide the design and delivery of models that operate in real time across our global payment network. Base salary range: €64,000 - €96,000

The role

As a Product Security Engineer, you will enable development teams to take ownership of the security and privacy of their product by collaborating to set requirements and standards, performing design reviews and vulnerability assessments, and helping build security controls. You will also work closely with the dedicated Security Operations and Security Engineering teams. 

You will be someone who has experience securing a cloud-native environment, and, in particular, in embedding security and privacy standards in engineering functions. You should also be comfortable automating security and privacy engineering and performing various security assessments.
