About the team
The Careem Data Science team’s mission is to drive competitive value from data at scale through building AI models to optimize user experiences, decision making, operational efficiencies, and lead the region’s AI ecosystem. As one of the leaders in this team, you will be at the forefront of fulfilling this mission. You will be working with and leading the top data science talent of the region, leveraging AI to solve the region’s day-to-day problems, through state-of-the-art machine learning, optimization, deep learning, and RL models, that are deployed on top of our own in-house AI platform, serving users in real-time.

About the team
At Careem, the mission for the NextGen Programme is to help grow our engineers by learning how to write Clean Code, use SOLID principle techniques, and design reliable systems. The ultimate goal is to train new engineers to build excellent foundations with high standards. Our Programme covers vast areas in engineering: Backend, Frontend, Web, Mobile, Data Analysis, MLOps, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and QA.
We are looking for software engineers to join our team of talented engineers that share a common interest in distributed backend systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will work alongside a top talent for an accelerated learning path. You will have access to some of the most exciting projects and advanced tech for accelerated learning and exposure.
You will be responsible for maintaining some of our services that power the Careem. Engine, scaling highly distributed systems, and continuously documenting and improving our engineering practices. These large-scale, distributed systems handle everything from user requests to payment processing.

As a Technical Program Analyst, you will report to the Manager of Technology Operations and will be responsible for overseeing the systems and tools powering our Global Solutions Engineering Organization, including Salesforce, Slack, Jira, Scoro and others. We’re looking for an experienced, dynamic, and growth-oriented individual to drive a state-of-the-art agent experience that is rooted in Salesforce and its supporting ecosystem. You're a good fit if you have an interest and aptitude in understanding the business needs deeply and designing thoughtfully for efficiency, the highest quality, and scalability. You think about the customer and user experience first as you think through solutions and help identify ways to drive improvements.
