More about the role:
The Account Manager will provide Public Relations and Communications advisory services for a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring that client satisfaction is maintained at the highest level. In this role, you will apply strategic thinking to client programs, deploy the firm’s resources to achieve client objectives, monitor client projects on a day-to-day basis, and work under limited supervision or as part of a team.
What you'll do:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Account Manager will typically perform within the following broad categories:
Client Advisory (35%)
- Developing and executing creative communication campaigns and project plans
- Interpreting client needs and solving issues
- Offering strategic PR and communications counsel to senior client contacts
- Creating and maintaining productive senior level relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Communicating clearly and honestly with clients
- Conducting account and project audits
- Measuring success of Burson projects and reviewing them with clients
Project Implementation (35%)
- Reviewing, editing, writing materials in Ukrainian and English, such as news releases, pitches, backgrounders, fact sheets, whitepapers, Q&As, briefing notes, articles, columns etc.
- Engaging with media representatives and other stakeholders
- Liaising with suppliers, e.g. polling firms, technology suppliers, designers etc.
- Liaising with third-party spokespeople and influencers
- Developing and executing crisis and issue response materials
- Monitoring traditional and social media, preparing reports for clients
Account Management (10%)
- Responsibility for day-to-day financial management of assigned accounts
- Preparing client invoice letters and managing accounts receivable issues with clients
- Managing client budgets
- Maintaining account profitability
- Coordinating new client contracts
- Accurately recording expenses and approving supplier invoices
- Contributing to forecasts used by senior management to develop business plans for the agency
Business Development (10%)
- Networking, developing and following up with new business contacts
- Keeping track of events and trends and their impact on clients and the firm
- Contributing to new business strategy discussions and pitches
- Proposing new project ideas to existing clients (organic growth)
- Flagging and pursuing new business opportunities
- Contributing to new business strategy discussions and pitches
Personal Development (10%)
- Following the Burson values of Craft, Curiosity, Camaraderie and Counsel
- Complying with WPP Group and Burson administrative and personnel policies and procedures
- Proactively maintaining proficiency and developing skills with basic operating programs as well as company-provided AI tools
- Participating in goal setting, self-assessments, and annual reviews

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree, ideally in communications or media studies
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in strategic communications, corporate and crisis communications, public affairs, or other related field (agency experience preferred)
- Specialized industry knowledge and network of contacts
- Proven ability to use media and stakeholder engagement to achieve client objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Ukrainian and English
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
- Being a persuasive and articulate communicator
- Flexibility in delivering high-quality work amid delays, changes in direction, or budget revisions
- Willingness and proactivity in learning and applying new tools in everyday work, including proprietary Burson AI tools

We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Animator to join our team. In this role, you will help bring ideas to life through engaging motion design, working on a variety of digital content including short-form videos, ads, and visual storytelling assets.

Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations for digital content and marketing materials.
- Apply motion design principles such as timing, easing, rhythm, and weight.
- Animate typography that is clear, engaging, and visually appealing.
- Translate concepts into compelling visual stories through motion.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to deliver creative solutions.
- Prepare and organize assets for animation using design tools.
- Iterate quickly based on feedback and project requirements.
- Stay up to date with motion design trends, especially in digital advertising.
- Basic to intermediate experience in 2D animation and motion design.
- Strong understanding of composition, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (primary tool).
- Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator for asset preparation.
- Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly.
- Strong creative thinking and visual ideation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex messages into clear visual content.
- Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender (3D elements).
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini or Adobe Firefly.
- Understanding of advertising or motion design trends.
- Experience in AdTech or programmatic advertising.
- Knowledge of dynamic creative optimization (DCO).
- Basic sound design sense.
