About the Role
Selkirk Sport is expanding our Asia operations and looking for a bilingual Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing execution, quality oversight, and new product introductions across our partner factories in Vietnam and China. We are open to a strong engineer ready to step into management or a senior engineering manager with deep experience. What matters most is the ability to take technically complex projects from concept to full production with precision, ownership, and strong cross-cultural communication.
This role is the engineering and manufacturing backbone of our Asia operation. You will drive production readiness, solve technical issues on-site, collaborate closely with U.S. R&D teams, and ensure our products meet Selkirk’s uncompromising quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution

• Lead the full lifecycle of engineering and manufacturing projects, from initial Tech Pack handoff to pilot builds, validation, and mass production.
• Work closely with factory engineering teams to interpret specifications, resolve open questions, and ensure accurate execution.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with U.S. engineering, product, and supply chain teams to keep timelines and deliverables on track.

Manufacturing & On-Site Problem Solving

• Spend time at factories during critical builds to monitor processes, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Diagnose root causes for defects or process deviations and collaborate with factory engineers to drive improvements.
• Ensure tooling, jigs, materials, and process controls align with Selkirk standards.

Quality Leadership

• Oversee the work of on-site QC inspectors in Vietnam and China, providing direction, training, and standards.
• Review QC reports, verify factory adherence to specifications, and conduct periodic audits.
• Implement US Team policy and refine quality procedures to ensure product consistency and reduce operational risk.

Cross-Border Communication

• Communicate clearly in Mandarin with Taiwanese and Chinese factory leadership, owners, and technical staff.
• Summarize factory updates, risks, and results concisely in English for the U.S. team.
• Serve as the cultural and technical bridge ensuring alignment across continents.

Team Building (Current and Future)

• Provide leadership to existing Asia-based QC personnel.
• Over time, help expand and structure the Asia engineering and quality team as operations grow.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product reliability.
• Share insights with U.S. R&D to influence design-for-manufacturing and future product development.
• Recommend factory capability upgrades or process innovations as Selkirk expands into new materials or technologies.

What We're Looking For:
Required:

• An entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial mindset, with strong ownership instincts Mandarin and English fluency
• Strong engineering background (mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related field)
• Proven ability to execute engineering/manufacturing projects end-to-end
• Hands-on problem-solving skills and a willingness to be physically present on the factory floor

Preferred

• Experience in composites, sporting goods, consumer hardware, or similar manufacturing environments
• Experience leading engineering or manufacturing teams (for manager-level candidates)
• Familiarity with NPI processes, quality systems, PLM tools, and manufacturing documentation
• Prior experience working with Chinese/Taiwanese-owned factories

We are seeking a hands-on Network Security Engineer to operate and continuously improve our network security stack—primarily enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco), secure web gateways/proxies, and site-to-site/remote-access VPNs. The ideal candidate is an operator-engineer hybrid with deep knowledge across L2–L7 security controls, strong troubleshooting skills, and proven experience in high-availability, low-latency environments. Experience supporting MAS TRM or BNM RMiT audits is highly preferred.

Operations & Reliability:
Own day‑to‑day operation of Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco firewalls, Proxies, and VPN appliances (IPSec/SSL).
Monitor and maintain HA clusters, dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF) on firewalls, and NAT/policy objects to ensure availability and performance SLAs.
Execute change management: rule modifications, NAT adjustments, SSL decryption policies, URL categories and app‑ID signatures.
Perform break/fix troubleshooting using methodical, packet‑level analysis (pcaps, flow records, session tables, global counters).
 

Security Engineering & Hardening:
Manage segmentation (zones, VRFs, tags), east‑west and north‑south controls, and zero-trust policy baselines.
Develop and maintain standardized security templates (objects, groups, security profiles, threat/vulnerability profiles, URL filtering, DLP where applicable).
Tune IPS/IDS, Anti‑Malware, URL filtering, WildFire/ATP, DNS Security, and sandboxing controls to reduce false positives while maintaining strong coverage.
Integrate firewalls with identity (AD/LDAP, IdP, SSO), SIEM/SOAR, PKI, and EDR/XDR telemetry to enrich detections and automate response.
 

Secure Remote Access & Edge
Maintain VPN architectures (IPSec, GlobalProtect/AnyConnect/FortiClient), posture checks, MFA, split vs. full tunnel policies.
Support branch/edge (SD‑WAN) security policy application and traffic steering to on‑prem or cloud security services.
Manage proxy/SWG policies (e.g., SSL decrypt, file controls, CASB integration) and ensure compliance for web access.
Experience in Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) is an advantage.
 

Governance, Risk & Compliance
Maintain policy standards, rule certification/recertification cycles, and least‑privilege reviews.
Ensure controls meet regulatory and industry frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST 800‑53/CSF, SOC 2, PCI DSS, MAS TRM if applicable).
Document and execute disaster recovery and BCP plans for network security platforms.
 

Incident Response & Continuous Improvement
Act as an escalation point for network‑security incidents; participate in RCA, and corrective actions.
Build dashboards and metrics (utilization, block/allow, threat trends, latency) and drive continuous tuning.
Contribute to runbooks, knowledge base articles, and automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Panorama, FortiManager, Cisco FMC APIs).

Key Responsibilities

• Execute migration of repositories and CI/CD pipelines from Azure DevOps and Bitbucket to GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Build migration waves and prioritize workloads based on criticality, complexity, and business impact.
• Create reusable workflow templates and standardized CI/CD patterns for broad engineering adoption.
• Implement deployment promotion controls across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production.
• Integrate SonarQube, Veracode, and Prisma scans into build and release workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or CI/CD engineering, with at least 2 years in enterprise migration/transformation programs.
• Proven hands-on delivery of large CI/CD migration initiatives, preferably with 200+ pipelines (500+ strongly preferred).
• Strong experience with GitHub repositories, branching/governance, and GitHub Actions workflow design and implementation.
• Strong Azure enterprise environment experience, including private networking, secure connectivity, and environment segregation.
• Demonstrated experience integrating SonarQube, Veracode, and Prisma into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating CI/CD release controls with ServiceNow and JIRA (or equivalent ITSM platform).
• Practical experience managing controlled release promotion across DEV, SIT, UAT, and Production.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as insurance or financial services, with compliance and audit awareness.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills in cross-functional enterprise settings.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, GitHub, DevOps, or cloud security are an advantage.

We are seeking a SecOps (Security Operations) Engineer to support daily security operations, including monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, maintaining security tools, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The role involves working closely with IT, network, and application teams to maintain a secure enterprise environment.

Security Monitoring & Incident Response

• Monitor security alerts and logs from SIEM, EDR, and other security platforms.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT, or related field.

Experience

• Experience with EDR platforms, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS).

• Exposure to DLP, CASB, and vulnerability management tools.

Technical Skills
