How you’ll support our operations:

At Misfits Market, our customers choose us for what we - quite literally - bring to the table! They love our products, they love our service, and they love our drivers! As a delivery driver, you are the customer-facing liaison between our fulfillment centers and our valued customers. 

In this role, you will be directly responsible for delivering the customers’ boxes to the correct address, during the correct time window, and in pristine condition. You probably have the same expectations for your own deliveries! What you’ll be doing:

• Complies with all DOT and Misfits Market safety standards at all times. This includes but is not limited to: wearing your seatbelt when the vehicle is in motion, safely exiting and entering the flow of traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and using proper lifting form. 
• Verifying all deliveries in our routing app. 
• Delivers customer orders directly to our customer’s doorstep with professionalism and care.
• Safely navigates varying weather conditions and hazards throughout the duration of your shift, both inside and outside the vehicle. 
• Uses proper lifting form to safely load and unload up to 150 boxes per shift, each weighing up to 50lbs.
• Supports our Packaging Return Program by picking up and documenting customer recycling. 
• Supports the overall delivery volume, which may include helping other drivers complete their routes or working overtime as-needed. 

What you have:

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid state issued driver's license for at least 2 years
• Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• 2 years of previous Delivery driving experience 
• Comfortable operating delivery van in all types of weather conditions
• Willingness to work overtime and/or possible weekends if the business needs you to
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to sit, stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice for you to have:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
• Experience working in a food based environment

Who We Want:

The Group Leader is the front line of leadership at the plant level.  Their purpose is to oversee all operations within their area (zone).  The Group Leader is responsible for ensuring that Safety, Quality, Delivery, and production Efficiencies meet the standards and expectation of internal and external customers.  Group leaders are also morale builders and are responsible for creating a positive work environment for all employees.  

What You'll Do:

•    Manage processes with detailed accuracy, and discipline.
•    Coaches and assist all employees with problem solving, and personal issues.
•    Train team members’ on various processes, procedures and job tasks within their work zone
•    Certify team members’ on individual workstations to satisfy each level of progression on the skills matrix
•    Ensures quality standards are met.
•    Ensures on time delivery is met according to customer demands, and scheduling.
•    Pays close attention to detail. Example: Safety, Housekeeping, quality, performance, instructions given by management, and employee well-being.
•    Incident reporting, and investigation of root cause for injuries, near misses, and manufacturing equipment incidents (i.e. mis-hit, tool crash, etc..). 
•    Monitors employee attendance, and disciplines accordingly in accordance with the employee handbook.  
•    Monitor production quality and throughput.  Ensure that hour by hour boards, zone boards and other production monitoring systems are updated.  
•    Work with support groups to return processes to standard when abnormal conditions occur.
•    Manages operations in accordance with attendance.
•    Directs team leaders, material handlers, operators, and support groups on daily task.
•    Conducts toolbox talks daily to remind employees of all categories listed on the check sheet.

When and Where:

This will be a 2 Shift / 3:00PM - 10:00PM M-F position located at our Plant in Kansas City, Missouri. 

Occasionally, this may require you to arrive early, stay late, or work on weekends, outside of our regular hours, to ensure we successfully meet customer needs, deadlines, or urgent requests. 

What You Need to Have:

•    Minimum education: HS diploma or GED
•    Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a level sufficient to safely and effectively perform job duties, including following work instructions, safety procedures, and company communications. 
•    Three to five years related experience in a supervisor position; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    An Associate’s Degree or B.S degree from a 4 year college or university 
•    Has high standards of performance for self.  
•    Takes responsibility for actions, results, and mistakes. 
•     Is thorough, accurate, and reliable when performing and completing job tasks; demonstrates honesty and integrity in all aspects of work.
•    Takes positive action to objectively resolve conflict by listening, staying focused on issue to find resolution, and monitoring progress.
