The Market Risk function, within Enterprise Risk Management, is responsible for overseeing market, liquidity, portfolio, and asset-liability management (ALM) risks across the organization’s investment portfolios and balance sheet. The function provides independent risk oversight of interest rate, credit spread, equity, foreign exchange, liquidity, and concentration exposures, as well as asset-liability alignment.
The team is responsible for the development, enhancement, and governance of the economic capital framework related to the portfolio risks, ensuring appropriate measurement of risk exposures and alignment with capital adequacy and enterprise risk appetite objectives. Position Summary
The AVP, Market Risk and ALM and Hedging role is part of our growing Market Risk team under the Enterprise Risk Management function. The Opportunity:
We are seeking a QSP modeling & simulation scientist to be part of the Nonclinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology (NDCP) organization. This position will be responsible for developing, validating, and executing modeling projects with a focus on mechanistic PBPK-QSP mathematical models for small molecule programs to increase mechanistic understanding of compound PK behavior and drug distribution, pharmacological effects on RAS targets, support clinical translation, and drive future discovery and development efforts. As a Quantitative Systems Pharmacologist, you will:
Develop, validate, execute, and refine quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) models, minimal physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models, semi-mechanistic PK/PD models, and tumor growth models to support development and discovery phase projects including next-generation inhibitor design and assessment of combination potential.
Propose and perform in silico simulations to answer complex mechanistic questions, create data visualizations to effectively communicate modeling results to a wide-ranging audience, and devise strategies to improve model outputs.
Survey the related literature to understand key physiological and biological processes, abstract the basic mechanistic elements, identify the relevant data, and summarize assumptions to be incorporated into existing or new PBPK-QSP models.
Propose new mechanistic in vitro and in vivo experiments to test model assumptions and structure. Provide in silico support for preclinical translation including clinical efficacious doses/exposure projection, potential combination dosing regimens with other cancer therapeutics.
Work collaboratively with other functions to build internal infrastructure supporting data transfer and quality control.
Document contributions, including assumptions, mathematical models, data analyses, and data visualizations, to be shared with other scientists or used for archival purposes.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:
A Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline (systems pharmacology, computational biology, engineering, mathematics, physics, etc.) and 0-2 years of industry experience is desired.
Strong understanding of the principles and limitations of mathematical modeling, pharmacokinetic models, pharmacodynamic models, and quantitative systems pharmacology/biology models.
Proficiency in mathematical and computational methods including ordinary differential equations (ODEs), nonlinear systems, statistics, optimization, and parameter inference.
Proven record developing, calibrating, and validating dynamical system models in pharmacological and biological systems.
Demonstrable hands-on experience with programming languages used in scientific computing, such as MATLAB, Python, Julia, and R.
Capable of working proactively and independently to deliver high–quality modeling results in a timely manner.
Able to effectively communicate modeling assumptions, limitations, and simulation results to non-specialist and specialist audiences.
A critical thinker and team player who can work cross-functionally with others.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with diverse dynamical system methods like ODE-based, PDE-based, nonlinear mixed effects, agent-based, Markov, Boolean, etc.

THE ROLE
As a Senior Legal Counsel (IP Prosecution & Litigation), you will serve as a strategic partner to our engineering and executive teams, providing high-level guidance on patent strategy and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing a global patent portfolio of over 2,000 matters, overseeing outside counsel in all prosecution efforts while performing strategic analysis to ensure the portfolio aligns with core business priorities. The Role
You will be responsible for simulating and verifying the software used to fly and orchestrate the behavior of some of the largest satellites that have ever been flown, using both hardware-in-the-loop and hardware-out-of-the-loop testing. Where needed, you will be able to step into different parts of the software stack to drive solutions end-to-end and even make changes to vehicle control software.
In your first 6 months you will generalize simulation software architecture to allow testing and designing multiple spacecraft, demonstrating robust performance in demanding missions. The Role
As a Senior Navigation & Guidance engineer, you will be a core driver of the overall spacecraft GNC architecture. You will execute detailed trade studies to find new and novel ways to implement the spacecraft’s guidance, attitude control, and attitude and orbit estimation systems. In the first 3 months, you will support the development of the control infrastructure, from discrete filter design in the time domain to thorough analysis in the frequency domain. Additionally, you will support the development of autonomous orbit raise for a vehicle to MEO and the associated navigation to support an autonomous orbit raise. In the first 6 months, you will own and execute the Verification and Validation plan for the GNC stack, driving the system to flight readiness via a robust and thorough analysis of vehicle performance in both nominal and off nominal environments. This push for flight readiness will motivate thorough analysis, leading to updates to both the GNC stack and the K2 6-DOF simulation. The expectation is that all GNC team members commit code to the 6-DOF sim as well as owning a portion of the GNC flight software.
In the first year, you will support launch and on orbit operations of the first full demonstration of the K2 spacecraft bus – the Mega. In parallel, you will support the block 2 upgrades of the GNC stack and 6-DOF sim, taking lessons learned from on orbit operations to increase the fidelity of the simulation and the vehicle performance of the GNC stack.

EnergyHub is looking for a Customer Programs Support Associate to ensure the success of our utility and consumer programs. We are supporting dozens of electric utility programs and we're growing quickly! The Associate will be a key contributor during EnergyHub’s busiest times of the year when our platform is deployed by dozens of utilities to help maintain much of North America’s grid reliability. The Associate will have a unique opportunity to work closely with dozens of Grid Edge experts on a daily basis.
