Why Triple Whale Needs You:

Triple Whale is launching its first native mobile app, and we need engineers who can build it right from the ground up. As our merchants increasingly rely on mobile to monitor their business in real time, we need someone who can think in systems, build performant and resilient mobile foundations, and ensure the app delivers a native-quality experience even under poor network conditions. Your experience building production mobile apps will directly impact how quickly we can ship, how reliably merchants can access their data on the go, and how confidently we can expand the mobile platform as it grows.

What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain the Triple Whale React Native mobile app, with a strong focus on performance, offline resilience, and native-quality UX.
• Build and maintain mobile UI components by translating Figma designs into production code using a design token system, collaborating with design and product teams to ensure visual parity with web.
• Build data-driven screens with real-time streaming data, charts, and complex list rendering optimized for mobile constraints.                                                        
• Participate in designing the reactive data layer - state management patterns, server-state caching, and offline-first strategies that work reliably across network conditions.                                                                                                                                                                         
• Participate in mobile infrastructure work: navigation architecture, gesture-driven UI, native module integration, and authentication flows.                                          
• Contribute to the technical health of the mobile codebase by enforcing architecture standards, optimizing rendering performance, managing bundle size, and making informed build and tooling decisions.                                        
• Leverage AI tooling to assist with development workflows - code generation, refactoring, design-to-code alignment - while applying strong engineering judgment to review and productionize results.

What You'll Bring:

• Ability to work from our Jerusalem office (located in the Central Bus Station next to the train) 2 times a week (Monday & Wednesday) is required
• High level of English (spoken and written)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building production React Native apps with strong TypeScript skills.
• Experience with native build tooling and deploying apps to both the App Store and Google Play, including release workflows, signing, review processes, and OTA updates.
• Ability to assess mobile architecture tradeoffs - native vs. JS solutions, listeners vs. polling, local cache vs. server state - with a deep understanding of the performance, battery, and offline implications.
• Solid experience with reactive state management - structuring stores, derived state, side effects, and subscriptions to minimize unnecessary re-renders and handle real-time streaming data efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective cross-team collaboration. 
• Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines, with high availability and responsiveness

Bonus Points If You Bring

• Experience with offline-first caching strategies and local persistence in mobile apps.                                                                                               
• Experience building or contributing to shared component libraries or design token systems.
• Comfort working and collaborating closely with designers.
• Experience with data visualization or graphics rendering on mobile.
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and release automation.                                                                                                                      
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.

This role sits at the intersection of data science and engineering: owning statistical models end to end, deploying them into production, and turning advanced analytics into reliable, customer‑facing capabilities. What You’ll Do:

• Build marketing measurement and optimization products (e.g., attribution models, MMM, incrementality testing, forecasting systems)

We're looking for a Data Engineer with 4+ year experience to join our Data Engineering team and help us build and scale our production-grade data platform. You'll work on high-performance systems built on self-hosted ClickHouse, optimize complex data pipelines, and collaborate closely with Product, Analytics, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, fast, and scalable data solutions.

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll have a significant impact on how we ingest, model, store, and serve data that powers our analytics and AI-driven products.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of our data platform and have meaningful ownership over critical components of our architecture.

What You'll Do:

Data Modeling & Architecture

• Design and evolve data models that reflect business logic and support analytical use cases
• Collaborate with the BI and Analytics teams to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient schemas

Performance Optimization

• Optimize ClickHouse schemas, partitioning strategies, indexing, and compression
• Profile and tune slow queries to improve performance and reduce costs
• Implement systems that ensure data quality, consistency, and operational efficiency (e.g., deduplication, validation, anomaly detection)
• Monitor pipeline health, data freshness, and query performance with appropriate alerting mechanisms

SQL Compiler Development

Develop and maintain the SQL Compiler layer that translates high-level queries into optimized ClickHouse execution plansImplement query optimization and rewriting strategies to improve performanceDebug and resolve compiler issues to ensure accurate and efficient query translation

Data Pipeline Development & Collaboration

• Review and advise the Integration team on pipeline architecture, performance, and best practices.
• Provide guidance on data modeling, schema design, and optimization for new data sources.
• Troubleshoot and maintain existing pipelines when issues arise or optimization is needed
• Ensure data freshness, reliability, and quality across all ingestion pipelines.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with the Integration team to ensure smooth data ingestion from new sources.
• Partner with Infrastructure to support high availability and disaster recovery
• Support other teams across the company in accessing and using data effectively.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with complex analytical queries
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize systems handling large data volumes (millions+ rows, complex queries, high throughput)
• Knowledge of query optimization techniques and execution planning
• Familiarity with columnar databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar). Columnar DB experience is a big plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ClickHouse specifically
• Experience with real-time or streaming data pipelines
• Familiarity with SQL compilers or query engines
• Background in data quality frameworks and observability tools
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi ,etc.)

You’ll be responsible for leveraging data to drive key product decisions, ensuring that insights are the foundation of product strategy and not just a guiding tool. Your analysis will directly influence product direction, user experience optimizations, and the success of experiments across our products.
